I am pleased to say that I've finally found a plumber that I would not only use again, but recommend. He asked multiple questions so that he could give me a real price, not a price that gets him in the door that he could then upcharge. Nathan was on time, he had booties for his feet. When I needed something additional, he told me and explained why without being condescending. He did great, neat work for a fair price and also did a great job on the clean up. I'm VERY happy with my experience!"

Was not told ahead of time that I would need to pay 408 dollars for essentially hooking up a wet vac to the end of a pipe and turning it on for thirty seconds Expected to pay $200 Actual payment was $493 Line codes from the invoice S-Service Call $85.00 S-Blow Out Condensate Drain $408.00 DESCRIPTION OF WORK / RECOMMENDATIONS from vendor Condensate pvc drain clogged with sludge & slime. Cleared condensate drain with nitrogen & vacuum. Unit draining properly after repair. 0ppm co reading. No gas leaks found. Customer recently had a cc completed. All ok at departure. Recommendation is that if you need this service performed is to get a quote in writing from the vendor ahead of time or just get a shop vac and do it yourself. Will not recommend although would like to hear vendor response as to how this poor customer experience could work better. (UPDATE): The Vendor has reached out to try and mitigate the cost and is much appreciated."

"<p>Chris was on time, professional, and stayed on estimate.  He took the time to look at our fireplace installations and our gas lines, and helped to address some problems created by a previous owners' conversion of wood burning fireplaces to gas. He also listened carefully to our specific concerns and needs before coming up with some original and creative solutions. Our fireplaces are not only safe, but they're beautiful, including the brass valve and keys he installed in the wall by our living room fireplace for us to shut off the gas supply directly if there is ever a problem. When one of the valves from the vendor arrived with a scratch, Chris took care of replacing it with a new one, and showed up on the weekend to deliver it.  He also did a repair of a leak that had been found during our inspection.  I will use him again, and have recommended him many times.</p> <br />"

"Crew from RA Mechanical and Plumbing came right on time, just as they promised. They provided me a quote over the phone and outlined the work that needed to get done. The crew was very responsive to my questions and provided me excellent information on the water heater and the price. The crew was very thorough and made sure the installation was complete. They found a small leak in the pipes and made sure it was fixed before they left. Overall excellent experience and would use them again if needed."

"I came home from work and looked in the basement and saw there was water running across the floor that originated from the hot water heater. <br /> I own a 2-flat and the hot water heater provides hot water for both my and my tenant's apartments. I had a new hot water heater installed about 24 years ago and have never touched it in all that time. Honestly, I didn't have much of a clue about it, or ever thought that one could leak. <br /> It was about 7:30 PM and I called Metro, expecting to get their voice mail but instead to my surprise got a hold of Jim Coleman. <br /> I described what was happening and he told me I probably had a leak and if I did it would need to be replaced.  I asked him for a ballpark estimate, which he gave me. He told me he would have one of his guys come out to our house by 8:00 AM the next morning. <br /> Sure enough at 8:00 AM the next morning, Gus, one of the guys on the Metro team showed up. He confirmed the leak, drained the existing 50 gallon gas hot water heater, and installed the new 50 gallon gas energy efficient heater. Gus found that the existing gas valve was cracked and so replaced that. The existing flue installed with the previous heater (NOT done by Metro) was too small and so that was replaced as well. Gus was quick and efficient, The basement was tidier after he got done than before he started. <br /> I have been using the Metro Group for many years (I think about 14) ever since they were the heating contractor that was used when I had some major remodeling done. <br /> I have had consistently positive experiences with them. They are reliable, efficient and trustworthy. I recommend them without any hesitation. <br />"

Tina searched and searched and found the necessary parts, ordered them, and made sure they were installed on time, on budget and perfectly.
