"In October 2020, I had a gas leak and I did not even know it until I was doing annual maintenance. The first company that came out made me believe that it could not be repaired and did nothing to mitigate the issue. I thought I would have to figure out where I was going find about $10 to $20 K to replace my boilers. I could not afford that. I called Sync Mechanical for a second look. They gave me an honest diagnosis of the issue and told me where the gas leak was as well. They told me that it is repairable and laid out what my options if I wanted to do repairs or replace it and the cost as well. They talked to me about their financing options at the time. I really had options. This gave me peace of mind because the gas leak was much smaller than I was made to believe before, but Sync Mechanical took the leak seriously. They identified other parts of my boilers that needed to be replaced to avoid pipes bursting such as my expansion tanks and pressure relief valves. I agreed to get the repairs made. Sync Mechanical ordered the parts, kept me updated on the arrival time, and called me when they arrived so I can schedule a time. Sync Mechanical was also honest about their schedule when also responding to emergency calls of no hot water. I appreciated that because I was never left with false expectations. They were able to fit me into schedule even when it was very busy. It felt great going with a local professional company that were honest at every step of the way and large enough to handle multiple jobs in the Hudson Valley. I did not feel overlooked. I have been stood up by contractors twice before so it was really important to me that my time was not being wasted. The repairs were done within a day and all the old materials were disposed of by Sync Mechanical. I also received my invoice in the mail which made it easy for doing my taxes. Sync Mechanical helped me make an informed decision and also learn more about how my boilers work. I never felt like they were condescending and I appreciated their respect for family as well."

"Sometimes you just get lucky. We got super lucky when we hired D. Rohde to fix our A/C. Our technician Mike A. showed up with a helper/trainee, explained the estimate fees and then went to work. In less than 10 minutes he was able to identify the defective part, return to the truck for a new replacement part, and then install the new item. In under 30 minutes our main central A/C was back up and running. The second (upstairs) central air unit took another 10 minutes to diagnose and then about 40 minutes of grueling work in a super-hot attic to drain out the overflow tray, cut, blow-out the drain line, and repair the drain. Once drained, the unit is again working perfectly. It is great when a technician shows up and really is an expert. Mike A. is such an expert and also extremely friendly. Brandon, the assistant/trainee was also great and someday will make a great technician using all the knowledge learned from Mike's expert tutelage. I will recommend these guys to everyone I meet."

"I contacted several local companies when I wanted to get estimates for central A/C installation. I heard about JSP through the list serve at my place of employment and since the review was very positive I added them to my list. Four companies came out, one company never returned my calls to follow up for the quote, another suggested a system that I knew wouldn't work in my home (not enough attic space) and two companies followed through. JSP was one of those companies and what made the difference were the following: 1) JSP stands behind it's estimate and product. Your installation won't wind up being $1,000 more because of X, Y & Z - when they give you an estimate - that's the estimate. 2) They are THOROUGH. Not only did the technician take time to ask my my needs, my family's lifestyle and walk through and around the outside of my home - he thought about aesthetics as well. 3) The estimate is provided on the spot, hand-written, and explained in detail in case there are any questions. You don't have to chase them down to get the estimate or ask your last minute questions. 4) They are meticulous. Before beginning work they send out someone to do a walk-through to make sure every i is dotted and t is crossed BEFORE work begins. 5) Staff. THIS is where I cannot say enough. My situation was not the normal situation of someone calling to have Central A/C installed - there were extenuating circumstances and Ellen not only listened but she remembered, EVERY time that I spoke to her. I called JSP in February so the timing wasn't urgent and I made it clear that I had time . . . if Ellen and I went three weeks without speaking because of vacations, holidays, or because I just didn't get to it - she remembered me as if we had spoken the day before. I didn't feel like a "customer" - I felt like part of their family, as corny as that sounds. My calls were answered the same day, even if they weren't pressing and even after 5 pm. John, the owner, came out himself and spoke with me about my options as I looked to finalize what was discussed in February. I've never had such amazing customer service for something household related. You'd expect that when going to a spa, a hotel or buying a car - but in this case, they went above and beyond. I really cannot recommend JSP enough. If you want to work with a company that cares about your needs, preferences and your family - they're the ones to go with. If you don't care about service or follow through then you can go with anyone - but I truly believe JSP has the right idea about customer service and I hope they continue to grow as the good guys should. *No, I am not related to anyone nor did I know anyone at JSP prior to calling them for an estimate!*"

"David spent three to four hours (over a two day period) at my home teaching me about my central AC system and fixing the problems. He was professional, explained everything he did, and answered every question I had. I anticipated that I would have to pay a fortune for the visit. The charge was extremely reasonable. "I needed an electrician to install a 240 volt outlet quickly for an electric dryer coming on Monday. And didn’t know who to use, so went on Angie's List and found Ohms Electrical Services, who responded back within a few hours of calling and was able to come the next day. Lloyd was the electrician, who came and did a great job. He knows his stuff and if very personable and professional. He also saw work a past electrician had done that was not to code and explained why and that is was a safety issue, so will be having him back soon to fix that as well as other projects. Definitely, would recommend and very reasonable price."

"I called James to fix a sound problem on my laptop that my husband was unable to resolve. He came to my office and not only fixed that issue, but several others that he found.  Additionally, on a subsequent day, I was unable to print anything, called James, and he remotely fixed the issue.
I am VERY thankful that I found North Alabama Technical Services! James is professional and personable in addition to being extremely knowledgeable. He really knows his stuff, and I highly recommend him. Why waste time and energy trying to fix things yourself and add to your problems when you can have someone like James actually fix it quickly and the right way the first time? Plus there's no anxiety and cussing --- and everyone who has tried and failed to solve computer issues yourself knows what I'm talking about!

"The problem was a leaking tub faucet control. Was given an appointment for 10:00AM ( not â between 8 and 12, or 8 And 5 ) and they were here at 10 ! Went straight to work , disassembled the control and removed the cartridge which needed to be replaced. Left to obtain the parts needed from a local plumbing supply. Returned with one of the two parts needed (supplier did not have the second part on hand ). D&J installed the first part so water could be restored to rest of house and told us they would be back 8:30AM the next day. At 8:30 they were at the door and finished the repair. A short time later received an email itemized bill, listing the two parts replaced, their price ( not inflated above MSRP ) and labor cost. Very reasonable and appropriate price. Totally unlike another local firm that presents a cardiac inducing bill and refuses to itemize."
