"We recently had our HVAC system replaced by CoolRay Heating and Air and were extremely pleased with the entire experience. Mike Ritchey, our sales representative, conducted a thorough evaluation of our existing system and clearly presented several replacement options tailored to our needs. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and worked diligently to provide a competitive and fair price. The installation was led by Rollin Tappin, who, along with his team, demonstrated professionalism and care throughout the process. They completed the work safely, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. The new system is functioning perfectly, and we greatly appreciate the high level of service delivered by both Mike and Rollin. We would confidently recommend CoolRay Heating and Air to anyone in need of HVAC services."

"We have used other companies for services but when it came to replacing both A/C units we went with Ragsdale and we are very pleased. They are polite and professional. Highly recommend them for your home or business."

"called several companies on 6/23/2014 , and Moncrief was the first one that could send someone out "as soon as possible in the afternoon". Not an issue since that was the response from every other company.
Technician arrived on time, was very professional and quickly found and fixed the problem. Unfortunately, I didn't explicitly tell him to review any repairs with me prior to making them.
I was charged a $95 diagnostic fee and $130 to replace a $15 capacitor. $225 for 45 minutes of labor and $15 of parts. Overall a good experience, but I would not have agreed to $130 service charge for a capacitor replacement.
Update to Provider response 7/1/2014
***DISCLAIMER***
To anyone reading this review. I AM qualified to change a capacitor, the average user should not attempt to make any repair with a capacitor or any other device of this type as it can cause serious injury and death when done incorrectly.
I have no complaints with the technician, he was competent and professional and did a great job.
In response to your pricing explanation, that's great. I understand. We all need to do what we need to do to cover the cost of doing business. I don't feel like anything was not a fair or honest price. I don't feel like it's out of line with the market cost. Bottom line, I don't care. Your overhead of doing business to stay in business is not my problem. I agreed to pay $95 for a diagnostic fee to find out what was wrong with the unit. I would not have agreed to an additional $130 to replace a capacitor had I been asked before the work was done. Once the work was done, I paid the bill and I'm not asking for a refund or anything else for many of the reasons you outline.
Had I known it was the blower motor capacitor, I would have gladly accepted absorbing the 90 minutes to drive to one of the Industrial Supply stores in Atlanta that I have an account to purchase a new capacitor the next day because I'm cheap like that. The unit had been out for almost 3 days at that point and the other unit was picking up the slack pretty well.
However, I didn't have to drive anywhere or wait for shipping because I ALREADY HAD THE CAPACITOR. I bought it when I had to replace the capacitor on the outside unit 2 years ago and I wanted one on hand when the inside unit went. I also know it wasn't bad out of the box, because I tested the capacitance and discharge in the store with a Fluke 113 multimeter before I took possession of said box. It was located in a drawer less than 15 feet from your tech. Given the opportunity, that's $34 I didn't need to spend.
I would have most likely taken the chance on making the repair myself, as replacing the capacitor is not one of the more difficult tasks involved. Make sure the power is off at the breaker, do that special thing that must be done to make capacitors safe, disconnect the leads, remove old capacitor, put in new capacitor, reconnect leads and so on.
While I appreciate the time you spent to write this review and the personal note that I received in the mail, I hope this helps you understand the reason for my dissatisfaction."

"Starting with my salesman Stan, who was extremely knowledgeable and patient through an easy installation and then my plumbing Overview by Blake who was extremely thorough it has been great working with this company. Blake even noticed that my recent water heater installation by another company was not up to code so I had to call them to come back. He even went so far as to email me information that I could share with the other company to make sure they change the errors. Whether you need AC or plumbing this is a great company."

"We had to use this company because of their contract with America Home Shield. After 5 visits to my home - one of which he dripped the dirty toilet water all over my floor - they refused to write down that the issue with our toilets was the actual toilet and that it needed to be replaced. Subsequently, we hired an out-of-pocket plumber who fixed everything by removing the original toilets and replacing them with new ones.
Additionally, the plumber came to our garage entry door instead of the front door and smelled of cigarette smoke every time he entered my property.
On the initial visit we also had him look at our hot water heater which he said needed immediate replacing. We had another plumber come out for a second opinion (before spending $1800!) and the next plumber said that there were no issues at all that needed addressing and a new one was not needed.

"Update from 20 Jan 2026: I`ve been a repeat customer of Keep Smiling Plumber, Electrical, Heating and Cooling in the past for several home-related repairs. After having an unfortunate experience with Keep Smiling PEHC during my most recent service, I had some misgivings about the company and whether I would return as a customer. In regards to their customer service, everyone that I`ve engaged with (technicians, onsite supervisor, receptionist) has always been professional and courteous which goes a long way with me. The issue that I had was technical in nature and left me with some dissatisfaction regarding the quality of work. After speaking with leadership of this organization Mr. Powell and Ms. Amy ,I believe that they hold the highest standards and expectations for their employees and ensure that any work-related issues are duly addressed/resolved. I can sincerely say that they have regained my confidence and trust in contacting them in the future for my future HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing home needs. The manager I spoke with told me that there wasn`t any way the damage of the pump could come from the technician doing a drain and flush of the water heater. He told me that it would cost $1200 to replace the pump on the water heater. After speaking with the manager at Keep Smiling, I called another company which I`ve seen before in the community and spoke with a plumber and explained to him what happened. The technician at the other company told me that the pump could definitely be damaged if the pump was still plugged up and not turned off while the water heater was being drained and flush. I called the manager at Keep Smiling and shared those details with him and he replied that he understands what I`m saying but there was nothing he could do about it. I told him that I don`t have any reason to lie about any of this and felt very frustrated and cheated by the fact that I went in expecting for them to do a maintenance check for $59 for plumbing but ended up spending a $1000 for new. "We recently had a new HVAC unit installed and could not be more impressed with the experience. Under the company?s new ownership, everything from the initial consultation to the final installation was handled with professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail. The team was knowledgeable, courteous, and made sure the system was set up for long-term efficiency and comfort. It?s clear this company is focused on building lasting relationships with its customers, not just completing one-time jobs. We feel confident knowing we have a partner we can rely on for years to come and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality HVAC service."
