"We have been using Golden Aire for maintenance and repairs for the past 8 years. They are professional, knowledgeable and courteous, as well as fair in their pricing. Case in point, we had Daniel come out to do our summer A/C maintenance. Daniel discovered that coils were bad and leaking coolant. We received our quote for the parts and repair. The cost was estimated at $3k (ouch!) Parts were ordered and Daniel came out within a weeks' time. I can't state highly enough how impressed we were with Daniel's knowledge, professionalism and most importantly care. Daniel was able to save us $1,300 as he discovered that after fixing the Nitrogen leak and replacing the refrigerant there was no need to replace the coils. I know other less scrupulous companies would have milked us for a higher invoice price especially since the coils were ordered. "If you are in a jam, up against the wall, desperate or just plain don't know any other plumbing resource, then call Bonney. They are fast, courteous, professional - and outrageously expensive.
We called for plumbing help Friday AM and they sent someone out Monday. The plumber was here first thing, diagnosed the problem and wrote up a proposal. It was steep, but he was ready to solve all our plumbing problems, one stop and no more fuss - so I approved it.
In less than 90 minutes he had cleared the urinal drain and installed a new kitchen faucet. The faucet is exceptionally ugly, the worst Home Depot model possible. My mistake for accepting his choose A,B or C option. Although he indicated he would have to remove the urinal from the wall to access the drain line, I think he had a change of mind - the drain was rodded through the outlet after all, no removal - about 10 minutes work.
The bill was $1260. The (ugly) faucet was a $100 Home Depot special, call it $260 with steep contractor markup. That means his 90 minutes of labor was around $1,000 or $666 per hour. I wouldn't pay a divorce attorney that kind of money, even if I was Gwyneth Paltrow!
No complaints about the work or the professionalism - but man that price.

"Air conditioning in one zone stopped working over very hot weekend.  Called three companies to get a quote on possibly replacing both zones before I spent money on repairing a 17+ year old unit.
Diamond was the first company with availability.  Before they came over to give a quote, Bob called to ask me a few questions about the nature of the problem.  He speculated over the phone of what the problem might be and what the cost of fixing it would be.
He arrived for the appointment at the appointed time and proceeded immediately to fix the unit while talking to me about an estimate to replace both zones (2 systems).  He spent extra time hunting down an electrical connection issue in the unit and when done, checked out the flow readings of the system.
$258 dollars fixed the problem.  Since I had scheduled him for a quote, he offered to remove the new part that he had just installed or I could leave it in and if I decided to buy a new system, they would credit the repair of this unit back against it.  I elected to have him leave the fix in place.
Bob quoted me an exceptionally good price per unit for a quality Lennox system.  In fact a competitor who came the following day said that he wanted to see a copy of a written quote because Diamond's price was too good.
Although I've decided for the time being to not replace both systems, I would select Diamond Heating and Air in a second!

Just one day to take the old furnace away, replace all the old boots and duct work and install the new furnace. They paid a lot of attention not to damage or dirty the floor/carpet. "Although the heat exchanger was still under warranty - the labor intensive job to remove the old one and install a new one wasn't. The labor was $929.00 to complete this all day job. I decided to replace the inducer motor at the same time since it was only a matter of time until it failed. I called Zak - the general manager and he agreed to give me a long-term customer discount. Steve Brown, my service technician notified me that morning when he would arrive and was right on time. He was easy to work with, showed me the wear to the units and explained what he was doing throughout the installation. After removing the heat exchanger, Steve pointed out the evaporator coils needed to be cleaned and gave me a discount for that work too. No one likes an expensive HVAC repair bill, however Ray O. Cook worked with me to ensure it went as smoothly as possible. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future."
