"Our 14 year old HVAC system was starting to have problems, mainly with the A/C system which had a persistent coolant leak. With the increasing cost of R22 Freon we knew the time was near and a spring replacement was planned. That was before the blower motor in the furnace started to make a terrible noise and quickly failed, moving up our timeline. We had already done our research and decided on a Trane system. Based on overwhelming positive reviews and a co-worker referral, we decided to call Westin Air for an evaluation and quote. Our experience with Cathy, Westin's sales rep, was very pleasant - a full assessment of our needs and review of our options and no hard sell. The system suggested was the Trane S9V2 furnace with the XL18i air conditioner. Since our A/C was not working, installation was scheduled within a few days. The installation crew was incredible. They put tarps down on the hardwood floor and went above and beyond when it came to being careful. They cleaned up inside and out to the point you would never have known they were at the house. Our experience with Westin Air mirrored all of the positive reviews we read online. The office staff, salesperson and install team were all enjoyable to work with. There was a sense of honesty and integrity in everyone we encountered. There would be no hesitation to recommend Westin Air."

After getting five estimates from local companies, Builders Heating and Cooling were by far the cheapest and I received the top of the line equipment. Steve and Mike were very courteous and professional in what they do. They explain to me everything that they were going to do from start to finish. I was very surprised on how neat the installation turned out and how quickly it was installed. They removed all the old equipment and cleaned up there mess ( and some of mine). Once they were finished, they took there time to explain to me how everything operated. I am very happy that I contacted Builders Heating and Cooling, I will refer them to anyone that wants a great heating and cooling system for a very reasonable price. "I submitted a request on Angies List for a quote on my AC unit. I was unsure if a repair or replace was needed. I almost immediately had a call back and a schedule for someone to come take a look. Mike called me before arriving and was very prompt. He was very polite and professional and took time to fully inspect the unit. It turns out a new unit was needed and he went through my options and quoted prices. The pricing is very competitive. A new unit was scheduled for installation the next day. The AC installation was done very professionally. During the install a crack was found in the heat exchanger of the furnace. Again exceptional service was provided from quote to install. Big shot out to Mike Brown, Brock, Haidar, Brian and Dakota. There was another gentlemen with Brock and I can’t remember his name. So sorry!! If you need any work done on HVAC, give Five Star heating and cooling a shot. awesome job guys!"

"We just purchased this house this past summer.  Even though we have had the HVAC system worked on, nobody took notice of the condition of the Aprilaire.  When my husband turned it on, water ran out of it.  It wasn't an immediate concern so we put it off until nobody could stand the dryness in the house.  I opened the unit up to see if there was a serial number and discovered that most of it appeared to be missing.  I called several places but was impressed with the response of this company.  They came and checked it out. While the one part was on the truck, when the gentleman opened it up he said we had more parts than a filter missing and the unit had cracks in the housing.  The missing part was not normally needed so it had to be ordered.  
The company called me to tell me they had ordered the part (never had anybody tell me that before).  When part came in they called me again to schedule service.  The day before they called to confirm the appointment.  The day of the repair they again called to let me know the repair person would be there in 1/2 an hour and asked if that would be alright.
Instead of replacing the whole unit for $900 I agreed to use tape on the housing.  He assured me the cracks were just cosmetic.  I agreed to that since it sits unnoticed in the basement anyway.
I was impressed by the communication and the price.

I called several Angie' s List heating and cooling companies for estimates and availability for quick relief from the heat. I called Climatech on a Sunday night at 7:30 pm. They said they could install the very next day and had the best price of those I called. By early afternoon I had a new working air conditioner! They were men of their word. I am very pleased with Climatech and highly recommend them!

"Our A/C had been out for some time but we were delaying getting fixed for financial reasons. My parents stated they were coming for a visit and my father, due to his health, is unable to tolerate heat. I called Mallard, specifically the owner, Mr. Lawrence Titus, and he had a service tech to my home within about an hour. The technician was clean, neat, and very professional. A nice bonus was that he did not smoke so in spending time around him I did not have to deal with the odor. The service provided was excellent and quickly completed and the tech was very responsive to questions, providing knowledgeable and courteous answers. The company has changed their name to Air Quality Solutions and their website is AQSOHIO.COM. Their rates are fairly standard for the industry from what I have observed. I see no reason to go anywhere else for service as I can't see how anyone could have done anything better or faster. In fact, I would like to see someone try to do so."

"I bought the new one myself, but it’s not always easy to install, and the guy was here to fix the upstairs bathroom drain needed to be fixed, so I had him do it. I get what I pay for, and they did a good job."
