"Diagnosis of the problem was not complete. I was told the compressor failed and ended up replacing the unit. However, within hours of the new install, it is blowing hot air and the problem had to be addressed very late in the evening. It was then found to have a gas leak that was supposedly in an area of pre-existing pipe and that the thermostat was bad. Ironic how they reported the thermostat was working upon completing the new install, however. While I appreciate the Technician addressing the issue in the middle of the night, I don?t appreciate the failure of diagnosing the issue in the first place."

"I highly, very highly, recommend Three Guys AC. Aric was awesome. We had an emergent situation that could not wait until the following day. Aric was knowledgable, professional, funny, courteous and respectful of my home. Not only did he fix my problem at nearly 8pm (and showed up 30 mins after my initial call) we discussed a plan for problem that needed to be addressed in the near future. He had the fourth thought to ask if he could use a chemical to clean my coil or if it would be better to use vinegar due to the health issues in my home. He listened. I was panicked when I made the initial call to 3 Guys due to the serious health issues of a family member who I am a care taker for. She can’t be without AC. The next available appointment was the following day. I was so panicked that I hung up on the young man that took my call. He called me back within 10 minutes with a tech already on the way. He had rearranged Aric’s schedule and bumped us up because of the emergency. Thank you!"

"My review has not appeared on the Performance Air primary site which consists of positive reviews, so I'll try to replicate here. I've also contacted the BBB. Company ads indicate "service 24/7" which is misleading. Yes, you can speak w/ someone at the company, but they can't or won't send a tech 24/7. Our a/c went out Sat evening, 9/16, and they said someone would be out Tues, 9/20. When I said that won't work they scheduled us for the next day, Sunday, between 10a and 2p. Needless to say they didn't show. I called dispatch to see when someone would arrive and was told the tech was delayed on another job. Finally about 5:30p I was told "you're not on the schedule." A wasted day in the heat when I could have called someone else. Our Trane unit (bought from Performance) is less than 8 years old and is maintained only by Performance Air via a service contract. The company is eager for us to replace the unit. When Trane and other brands are properly maintained they typically last much longer than 8 years. The company overcharges on parts, which I've called them out on and had the price reduced (check the records if they'll let you...you have our permission.) Hughes Gulfport FL"
