I MUST COMMEND THIS COMPANY IN MANY WAYS: (1) outstanding installation workmanship & craftsmanship, (2) excellence in Building Permit application & follow-through, (3) excellent follow-through with respect to Rebates from application through all administration steps, and (4) excellence in application and follow through with various agency regulations. Air Sharks Administrative Staff has built a company that covers ALL aspects of large Home Projects. I strongly recommend them!"

"Can not imagine a better response, starting with my call for assistance, response time and how the technician, Tad methodically diagnosed the problem. We have an obscure kitchen fixture that required service in Feb 2019. Under warranty the problem was easily diagnosed by me, a problem possibly caused by me and a replacement part sent and installed by Albert Nahman team. Problem: I broke the faucet cartridge. Current Problem: restricted hot water flow in this kitchen sink only. Turns out the new cartridge part is now malfunctioning. I called and Tad arrived taking a step by step approach ruling out possible causes: a clog here or there, build up of sediment, or blockage in the lines or cartridge. The company that sells the product got on the phone with Tad and they collaborated on the problem and the tech person gave Tad one more thing to try. After the collaboration it is agreed, problem persisted and therefore that new cartridge part is now malfunctioning and will be shipped free of charge in two days. Thanks to all, who made this possible and I trust we will have Tad here again soon to finalize this fix. BTW, cost of service was less than expected given going rates for such a call lasting in excess of one hour. Another comment, spending time with Tad during the repair was a pleasure to have him explain, collaborate, listen and just chat. Questions on who to call next time, no question who I will call next time. I have read criticism of costs: In the Berkeley area "How much does it cost to hire a plumber? Some plumbers have a minimum fee for a service call. They might charge anywhere from $175-250 to come out and give you a consultation. Plumbers may give you a general service rate of $128-148 per hour when there are a lot of unknowns about a project and they aren't sure how long it will take. Some charge a flat rate for their plumbing services. For example, you may get charged $175 for a sink or drain cleaning, while toilet installation costs $500." Today costs are upfront, same as charges in Feb, $69 to arrive and assess the problem. Here in excess of one hour for $129 minus $25 coupon, total charge $173. I am ok and I expected these costs. If I was in Philly, where I grew up, I could call an uncle or cousin and get a better rate, a family rate. This is going rate for our area."

"We have a Victorian house with a heating system over 100 years old. The old ducts had to be removed and replaced before either turning the furnace back on or replacing it. We hired Dennis to handle the installation, since he was using a 3rd party to do the abatement, he suggested I talk directly with the abatement comoany, which saved me around $500 and expedited the project.. Dennis installed the new ductwok and also tuned up the old heater, so it is safely warming our home."

"This is a small company. The wife answers the phone and makes appointments. She was very prompt in returning my call, friendly and professional. On the day of the appointment she texted me when he was on his way so I would know when to expect him. I never know what to expect when someone shows up at my door. One time I hired someone who just stood there staring at me when I opened the door and I had to ask if he was who I assumed he was. Not Mr. Utor. He was clean and professional, introduced himself and handed me his card. He immediately picked up on my bare feet and kicked his shoes off before he stepped inside, which always makes me and my light carpet happy. The repair went smoothly, he had a well equipped vehicle and didn't have to run to the store to get parts like some of the folks I've hired. He asked me about my air filter and took a look at it just to make sure. I'm pretty good about changing it but when he pulled it out it did indeed need to be replaced. I had one on hand and he installed it for me. I didn't shop price at all so it wouldn't be right for me to comment on that other than to say that I feel that what I paid was fair. "I highly recommend ABC Heating, Cooling and Plumbing! First, Jeff came out and gave me a very thorough, jargon-free estimate. I felt like he offered me clear options and did not pressure me to go the most expensive route. Second, the scheduling process was easy and the guys who came to install my new A/C unit showed up on time and worked hard to keep the house clean and situate the unit in my desired location. Third (and most important to me) the guys doing the installation informed me that they saw a leaking water pipe under the house while they were down there doing some wiring. Had they not told me, I would have been clueless for quite some time. When my trusted plumber came out several days later to take a look, he told me that I owed the installers a huge debt of thanks because the leaking water pipe was dripping onto and seriously corroding the main gas line for the house. We were DANGEROUSLY close to having a gas leak on our hands and not knowing it. Before the plumber could work on the gas line/water line however I needed to get some large ducts moved out of the way. I made a call to Jeff to explain the situation and he was able to set me up with Ivan, who came out first thing the next day to get the ducts out of the way. Thanks to ABC’s great service people and responsiveness, we have a stellar new A/C unit and more importantly a dry house without a dangerous gas leak. Thank you ABC Heating, Cooling and Plumbing!!!"
