"Jim was very helpful and personable to work with.  I had recently moved to the Huntsville area and was unable to connect my wireless printer.   There were also some things going on with my laptop that made me suspect a virus had somehow gotten on to it, it was running more slowly than usual, and I wasn't happy with the Win7 configuration I had done when I bought the computer.  Jim came in and assessed the problems and we agreed on a time for him to take the laptop and reinstall the OS.  He was able to get the wireless connection to work as well.  He took the computer on a Friday evening and returned it Sunday evening in prime condition. 
A few weeks later I  got an error message while reinstalling my accounting software so I called Jim.  He talked me through the problem over the phone and I was able to get the program installed so I could use the program.
Jim is great to work with, his pricing is very fair, he is prompt and reliable.  I will definitely use his services again.

"I met the owner, who came on short notice when a company doing conversion of our water heater to natural gas did something that ‘shorted out’ our AC.  I was so impressed with their service that we signed a continuing maintenance agreement.  They come out twice a year to check out your heating and cooling system to head off any potential problems.  They haven’t tried to upsell us anything upon their inspections, they did find a ‘switch’ that was going bad and replaced it this past spring.  They didn’t say we HAD to have it replaced but that it might not make it through the summer; so we did have it replaced. It cost around $80."

"Tim, the Sales Associate was knowledgable and was able to match the correct type of carpet for our needs. He was able to move up the installation date which helped us tremendously since we couldn't move in until the carpets were installed. The installers were professional and did an ecellent job. I would definitely use them again."

Cherokee Mechanical did an exceptional job on this service call.  They were quick to get back to me after I purchased the voucher (which, by the way, was the cheapest price of any such check-up that I have seen) and scheduled a date and time which ideally fit my own schedule and was for only a few days after I purchased the voucher.  Dean presented as very professional and performed his tasks with alacrity and ease.  He not only replaced my air filters -- which was a big help as I am still using a crutch after ankle surgery -- but also spent time explaining to me the most efficient filters to get (which, by the way, are not the more expensive ones) thus offering me another way to save money.  I definitely plan on using this firm in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC service or repairs.
