"We had a small project that we wanted done being disabled I was not able to do it. We had two old window shutters above the garage that we wanted replaced. Called Tim on a Thursday an said they could do it the next day Friday. Tom came out an completed the project. We are extremely happy with the work he completed for us. We’re happy the a company like Tri State took such a small job for us when others wouldn’t. The cost was right on with no other hidden fees. "We reached out to Mid-Valley to repair our chimney. After soliciting 5 estimates, Mid-Valley wasn't the absolute cheapest but they weren't the most expensive either. We chose Mid-Valley over others based on their favorable review record on Angie's List. Overall we were very happy with the work.

Matt and his crew were courteous and timely with all communication. They made an effort to match our existing brick color as closely as possible and their quality of work looks very good. A year later we are still very pleased with the work. The only slight concern we had was that they didn't drape our fireplace opening (we have no fireplace insert with doors) and while work was being completed we did have some issue with some dust and debris falling down our chimney. But once we mentioned it to them, they must've been more careful up top, because we saw less debris making its way down the chimney. After the chimney work was completed, they did a chimney sweep that helped clean up the debris that had fallen down our chimney and all we were left to clean was some of the dust that had spread to surfaces in our living room. But I must stress, this was a very minor issue, we were very pleased with the quality of work and I would still highly recommend Mid-Valley Chimney to anyone looking to have chimney work completed.

In addition, when we opened the top sealing damper for the first time a few months later, we somehow got the chain stuck. We called and Matt sent someone out to free it for us for no charge.

"Recently purchased 107 year old home.  One side of stone foundation had crumbling mortar joints and missing stones. Needed repaired and tuck pointed. Woody came out examined the foundation and masonry work and had an estimate with in one hour of getting my call.  Very knowledgeable about very old masonry work.  Work was completed in 2-3 days by himself and crew or 2-3.  Went to great pains not to damage neighbors newly stamped concrete walk between houses.  Clean up was very complete and the foundation looks brand new.  Definitely would hire again.  Does everything exactly as he says he will."

"Handyman Matters did a great job of repairing very large hole in finished basement drywall including painting to match existing color.  Also installed vanity / sink / light fixture / mirror / baseboard / towel racks in bathroom plus painting the room.  Looks great, price was reasonable, and quality of work was very high.  The company was very efficient in producing quotes and meeting the promised schedule.

"In general did a good job.  Showed up on time and got started promptly.  Cleaned up well after themselves.  Fast and efficient.  Only negatives were one small window & storm that was overlooked.  They also had a problem with one of our curtain rods that required some DIY repair on my part.  Not clear whether it was actually a rod failure or if a part was broken due to inexperience on worker's part, but am willing to give them benefit of the doubt since the rest of the job/experience went well.
Price seemed pretty competitive and they squeezed me into their schedule just prior to Thanksgiving holiday..  Would hire again.
