"My pilot light would not stay lit and would not light the logs. Of course I have no way of determining what the real issue was, but everything I have read online pointed to a worn out piece where other companies were charging around $150 to replace. This company told me that the problem was the pilot light assembly and that it would cost $1,100.00 to replace. WHOA! I feel like I could buy a new fireplace for this amount. So now I have had to pay $95 for them to come out and do no repair because there is no way I could afford $1,100 to have them do what they say needs to be done (and that part is only $130 online so I am not sure how they are charging so much). The guys came out on short notice (only a few days after I called), which I appreciated. They were friendly, although a little snarky when I told the one guy I had already opened the glass and vacuumed everywhere to see if it just needed cleaning) I just feel helpless that I have no way to know if what they say is the problem is really the problem or if it may be the $150 repair I have seen happen all over my neighborhood. I will likely have to have a second opinion...still chilly and racking up the bills. :("

This was a $99 big deal. It was fine. They came out about a week after I bought the deal. They actually did a very good job but there was a problem with the scheduling. I hate scheduling something and then they can't come. Then the day they are supposed to come they set a time and then they call and say they are going to be late.
