"Tyler came for inspection the next day after calling. The water was flooding to the street. It was thanksgiving time (Friday) and I had to shut off water from the house until the leak can be fixed. He gave me a quote of ($3900 with tax) which is very high compared to what needs to be done, but I was stuck given that its holiday and I needed water for the house ASAP. He came on Monday with Mark and brought a 3rd party company to locate the leak underground. They excavated and replaced the defective piece. It was a 3 hour job. "Harts corrected the location of the crawlspace sump pump discharge line to the location in the foundation which I originally wanted it to be located. However, we did not hear the sump pump operate under the floor when first installed. When the Harts crew changed the location of the pump discharge line, we can now hear the pump very distinctly when it operates, under the floor. I am requesting that Harts come back and listen to see if it is normal for the sump pump to make this much noise."

Glad I did. The technician was very pleasant and he took his time to explain all the steps he was doing and let me watch as he put a camera down the drain and showed me on the screen where the clog was and all the build-up in the pipes. He then brought in a high pressure washer and I watched on the screen as he cleaned the pipes all the way down to where it joined up with the main sewer line. I initally thought the estimate was a little high, but not after watching all that they (his supervisor also showed up after an hour to help out) did."

This included excavating and trenching the line from a tiny crawl space, redirecting the line to a much more practical location outside the house, adding gravel around the new pipe, reconnecting the line to the unaffected section, and complete and tidy cleanup of my yard, all in two days.
