"I contracted with Grant Heating & Cooling Inc. to install HVAC system in my home in the spring of 2024. They were very professional and did a very good job. In the winter of 2025 I had a minor problem with one of the Mitsubishi heat pump system units. The company was quick to troubleshoot the situation. The technicians were courteous, knowledgeable about the system and thorough. It required several visits to diagnose the problem and fix it. The manager, Nick was very responsive to the situation which required bringing out an expert from Mitsubishi. All of this work was covered under my warranty. The problem was fixed and I could not speak highly enough about the company’s policies and customer service. I would highly recommend them for all facets of their work and standing behind their installations. I am very happy to be working with them for my continued maintenance. In my bedroom with the door closed at night on cool at 70 degrees the humidity goes up to 80%. I wake up uncomfortable, change it from cool to dry mode. The humidity will go down into the 50% range but the temperature drops down to 62 or less! So in cool or dry mode I can't get a good nights sleep! They come and look at it and tell me everything is fine. I'm going to buy a window air conditioner tomorrow which seems insane because i spent $10,000 on this minisplit AC system!"

"Initially, working with Universe went very well when we replaced a central air unit and installed a single-head and triple-head ductless unit... for about 1 season. After that, numerous issues arose (under warranty) from full line-replacement on the ductless units to having to come back to repair a wired connection that was reversed. This caused the AC to not work and have lots of moisture leak through our units. Additionally, pretty much EVERY season we have had an issue with our "brand new efficient systems" not working or failing. We leveraged the warranty and figured all the "kinks" of the installation were worked out over the first few years. Now, with the warranty expired for a year, we have had to have them back to our house several times with a service charge with absolutely zero consideration for the large project we have done with them and our dedicated customer history. We paid for those, thinking we would be done with repairs, as the tech said... Two days ago, with one single-head unit not powering up, they wanted to charge $285 just to show up to take a look at the issue... couldn't even send someone over when convenient to take a quick look... Severely disappointed in this "family business" that treats loyal/dedicated customers as a number. Their installation of ductless systems seems mediocre at best."

They just came without my knowledge and then I find a high amount bill) and another for an “automatic payment” for 500 that they never could explain. The didn’t even fix this issue and it kept happening every month even after I cancelled the service. Then having to call them is a hastié for the refund of the 500. Stay away of this company"
