I had another HVAC contractor out before calling Mechanical Comfort Systems and their proposal was significantly more expensive for a lesser system than I received from Mechanical Comfort Systems (the efficiency of the system was an upgrade from existing, and other company quoted replacement with same efficiency as existing). The system was replaced quickly (on a Saturday), and the installers were great, very professional. They cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job. During the freeze this February, I had a water pipe freeze and burst. Mechanical Comfort Systems came out the day after, even though driving conditions were still terrible and all my friends in similar situation were being told it'd be several days to a week before a plumber could come unless they paid some ridiculously expensive emergency fee... I recommended Mechanical Comfort Systems to three other people I knew that also had frozen pipes burst, and they all had them come after fix theirs after I gave them Mechanical Comfort Systems information. I strongly recommend Mechanical Comfort Systems to anyone needing any plumbing or HVAC work. I'll definitely use them again... although I hope not anytime soon ?"

"I went to Angie's list and got 4 quotes from providers with high customer satisfaction ratings. The folks at Allied were by far the best of the lot. As usual the A/C unit quit on Saturday mourning of a 100 plus degree day. Allied apologized extensively that they could not get to an estimate until Monday at 8:00 AM. Then unsolicited thy called and said they could get a team over Saturday afternoon. The team showed up and before trying to sell me a new unit they ran a series of tests and tried to get my old unit running. I joked that if you get this going I might not buy a new unit. The tech simply smiled and said "that's fine you will call us when you are ready to buy hopefully". "I would rather see if I can get you cool first then we will worry about a new compressor".
Three other companies showed up and none tried to get my old unit running. One gave me a price and said "If you do not take this deal now it goes up on Monday". The old compressor was locked up. They quoted me a new Trane system less than everyone else, showed up on Monday exactly as promised. Did a spotless install in 2 hours.
This is my Heating, A/C and appliance company from now on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

"The Collin Creek Duct Cleaning team did a great job on our home!  As we started up the A/C units for the first time this year, we smelled a bit of dust / mold and a general mustiness in the systems.  We had Collin Creek out to take a look and they identified and cleaned a large amount of dust in the ducts (collected in a large collection bag outside the home) and a bit of mold growth as well.  They performed an antimicrobial treatment where it was required and left the home smelling great.  We appreciate the work they did!
