"My basement recently took on water during the March rains. The wall to wall carpeting and pad in the finished portion of the basement had to be removed. Having had Stephen perform some demo work and trash removal in the past, I was already comfortable with his pricing and quality of work. I called Stephen and told him I needed him asap and he was there the next morning. He worked most of the day tearing up the carpet and removing the tack strips. The carpet pad was glued down in some places which made removal more difficult. On top of that, Stephen had to work around a couch, desk, chair, refrigerator and other items. When he finished removing the carpet, I also had Stephen remove 2 futon frames & mattresses, 2 toilets, a glass shower door and some other junk I wanted out of the house. Stephen swept up after all his work and left the place clean. He called me down a couple times to make sure the work he was doing was meeting my expectations.
