"Beware! not so honest. I had a air conditioner that would not start earlier this year and while he was here, I asked about having some general maintenance completed at the same time. I was told it could not be done at that time but the tech suggested that I purchase a maint. package that they would come out twice a year to do general maintenance on the units. He stated that they could do in a week or so, it turned out to be over 1-1/2 months for the 1st maintenance but I should clarify that it really isn't much maintenance but a opportunity to pay them to do a quote for additional work. In addition to this, one of our units was not operational arrived, before he would even move a finger I was required to sign a document for work in the amount of around $340 which ended up taking the technician 15 minutes to replace a blown fuse and loose wire, they charged $116.99 for the fuse (cost $0.1469). Not so honest, much different story from when I initially used them several years ago. "

"If you want to hire a company that cares, this is the one. We needed to have a bath converted into a walk-in shower in our guest bathroom because of the accessibility issues. The original design looked great, but it would have taken a couple of months to get all the supplies. John and Travis realized that we had an urgent need and came back with a great design that used great materials and we didn't have to wait for so long. In a couple of weeks, we had a crew headed by Jesse that landed in our bathroom. They were great. Everything was done in a day and a half. The quality is superb! Every time I walk into the bathroom, I enjoy the look of it, plus we are happy with all the benefits of having a walk-in shower. One more thing I want you to know is that I really mean what I am saying in this review. When the owner of the company, not a hired salesman, is directly involved in projects, it makes a big difference. "On the recommendation of our realtor, we hired OnCall Home Services to remodel the kitchen in our new house. In our previous house, we were burned by a different contractor, so we were a bit nervous entering into this project. Turns out we had nothing to worry about! Beau and his crew were great to work with from the beginning of the project to the end. Whenever we had a question or concern, Beau was prompt to reply or came by the house to discuss. There were no hidden surprises in the costs because Beau was always transparent and kept us apprised about any issues or needed adjustments that came up. He and his crew were courteous, professional, and showed up on time, every day. The project was completed on schedule and we're extremely happy with the results. We wouldn't hesitate to hire OnCall Home Services again for any future house projects!"

"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."

"Alex Blaker and his team were referred to me by ADU small home sales person in Austin Tx. My project was creating additional barrier walls in a home for the PadSplit app. We had to add 3 electrical outlets, as well as connect a clothes washer that required all lines electrical and water to be ran. Alex was cordial, easy to work with and genuinely cares about the work and level of craftsmanship that goes into the project. You will meet Dario and others on his team who are incredibly polite, clean, and efficient. Project was completed in a little over a week. Budget: initial bid around $7800 + taxes, two owner approved add ons elevated the project around $600. (Plug relocation, and dryer vent routing) Payment was made in 3 payments over the life of the project. I like this as it lets you see the project be started first. Alex kept me in the loop every day and came over in person to inspect, and recommend updates to the job. Happy to work with Alex and his team and look forward to working with them on future projects!"
