"A rep from RAM came to our house and inspected the attic.  He made recommendations for additional air vents, blown in insulation, minimal mold removal and installation of an attic fan that would minimize the effects of humidity and heat in the attic which are contributors to mold build up.  The work was done in three phases - insulation, vents, and attic fan.  All the guys were very knowledgeable about their specific area of responsibility and did an acceptable job.  The attic fan, unfortunately, has run almost non-stop since installation.  I called RAM and they said they would send out their electrician to adjust the fan.  The electrician, I believe is a sub-contractor to RAM, and he has not been able to keep several appointments to make the adjustement because he is tied up on bigger jobs.  I am a little disappointed in this.

Craig at Hammer Time Home Improvements was very prompt and returned my initial call within 30 minutes.  He came out the very next day to provide an estimate.  The crew did a complete tear off of the old shingles down to the plywood.  They laid new underlayment and ice/water shield.  Then installed a metal roof system.  They did an excellent job on the clean-up.  Craig and his crew were professionals from start to finish.
