We called them in for a full house remodel - their quote was not just reasonable, but professional in that they advised where not to waste money and where to focus on quality. The work was done incredibly fast, with multiple teams working at the same time (electricians on one floor, plumbers downstairs, and paint and flooring done in parallel). All in all they are professionals and will tell you what's best so you don't have to research everything and explain pros&cons. The communication is stellar - accessible by phone/email and will show up when asked, with clear updates on progress and next steps. The final bill was exactly per quote - because they SAVED ME MONEY, and then I got to invest in quality parts/projects. After the project was done, they were responsive and came out same day for follow-ups and little touch-ups. These guys have been doing this for a long time and it shows. "Tom Burrell recently remodeled our deck, and the results exceeded our expectations. He tore out the old deck, re-leveled the beams, replaced the joists, and installed six 6x6 cedar posts. He used TimberTech composite decking with invisible fasteners for a seamless look, adding a complementary border and middle divider for extra style. He rebuilt the stairs, installed deck lighting along the border, posts, and steps, and added stunning cedar cross-members that perfectly blend modern and rustic design. "I have never worked with other decorators, but Nick brings the shopping to me.  He has samples to show me or he sends links to pictures.    This has made the process so easy. 
I really enjoy working with Nick.  He is offers great ideas but is flexible when my budget or personal taste requires.  He has great
furniture contacts for reasonably priced, well built materials.  I got a great modular couch that can be reconfigured to meet the needs of the group in the room.  It was Nick's idea that it be modular because it served many functions but  it was also good for getting the pieces into the space.
Nick is also willing to disagree.   I am paying him for his opinion, so that's what I want.
In my experience with Nick decorating is not delivered in a one moment package.   One piece comes,  a little later some other pieces come. Then there is the final arranging and accessorizing and we are done.  It is a bit like completing a puzzle - typically not done in one sitting. 
Nick is also respectful of budget.  It is very easy in decorating to get carried away or make changes that impact the budget.  Nick has always offered me options to stay on budget, and when we veer off it has been my decision.

"Trying to execute a major outdoor renovation project during a time of global supply chain disruptions poses many challenges. Happy to report that Mal and PHI navigated that rocky path very well. Mal kept us informed of the many changes coming from the supplier as far as colors and delivery. It was a long process...8 months between signing the contract and having the work completed. In the end we are very happy with the product and the quality of the work. A major windstorm hit the area the day after the work was completed and put the installation to the test. Everything held up perfectly...no loose bits flapping on the house or flying around the yard. In researching this project ahead of time, we had spoken with many friends who've had their siding replaced and none of them were especially happy with their contractor. We had the best experience with Mal and PHI. Highly recommended."

"I hired him initially to extend my front porch and then build a deck. He did okay, a lot of what he told me he was going to do he didn't, it was mostly minor stuff. The deck itself is solid and nice. I then asked home to come back and do part 2 which was to enclose the deck and he came and gave me an estimate and then he bailed right before work started. There was no money exchange but it messed up all my plans because by that time it was the middle of the summer. This is why I feel he only deserves a B rating."

"I am extremely satisfied with the look of my new roof (Colonial Slate), the response of the sales rep (Jay K.), the installation of the new roof (no leaks!), and the cleanup after the job. I called and requested an estimate and a day later Jay was at my house (as scheduled) with shingle samples and other handouts explaining all of the material that Style Exteriors use when replacing a shingle roof. Due to a leak on in the old roof, I asked that a tarp be installed to cover the damaged area and that was done the day after we signed the agreement for the work to be done. Approximately two weeks later (we were waiting for warmer weather) my roof was replaced. The installation crew showed up about 15 minutes early and when Jay arrived to oversee the job, the tear off and replacement of the roof began. In the end, I did find a few old roofing nails, on the ground, on one side of my house, but overall the clean up was OUTSTANDING! From the call taker to the final clean up, I could not be happier with Style Exteriors and I highly recommend the company to service your roofing needs!"
