"While looking for a plumber to inspect and replace a leaking water heater, I found Rapid Repairs.  I called the number, and was directed to send a text message if I needed a emergent response.  After only a few minutes, I got a response in a text message addressing my issue.  They were professional and answered my questions as best he could without being at my house.  I even got estimates based on my answers.  The only reason I did not utilize their service was that I needed hot water immediately, and they were already on multiple service calls, meaning the earliest they could come out would be Monday.

"I have a 4 family house in Plainfield NJ.  One of the apartments sprung a leak in the ceiling.  We figured out it was the hot water pipe and had to turn off the hot water to all four apartments Thursday night.  I called Rob Friday morning and he was at the house in an hour!  He quickly checked out the situation and realized what needed to be done to repair the problem.  We discussed the problem and he quoted a reasonable price.  Rob performed the needed repairs on the spot within 2 hours.  I was very happy with the professionalism Rob displayed and would absolutely recommend his company to a friend.

Bottom line - Mark hit all four at an incredibly high level...not only did he prove himself to indeed be a master plumber but also a master service provider. After a few not so successful experiences in the past, I am happy to say I have found my go to for all plumbing needs and I recommend MFS with my highest confidence. Details - I had a clogged drain which I was unsuccessful at snaking myself and proved to be a bit more complicated than initially thought, requiring some replacement plumbing. Mark responded to me immediately and his communication throughout the process was incredible. He made allowances to conform to my schedule, coming out on a Sunday even though it wasn't an emergency (and not charging emergency prices!). When the job required more than we had anticipated, Mark arranged to come back two days later, again convenient to my schedule, and completed the repair/replacement of some plumbing while clearing the pipes. Professional and superb quality of work, Mark was also wonderfully pleasant and enjoyable to work with. I was not able to be present for the final repairs on the second visit so Mark actually sent me pictures of the work upon completion and a video of the water vortexing down the drain! His final price for the two visits and work was very fair, I could not have been more pleased with the whole experience."

"Excellent work. They scraped and painted our front steps, basement steps and railings. They “thorosealed” all the ledges on our house and replaced the shingle on the garage door roof extension. Joe stained our two front doors and they look brand new. Everything was well done and looks great. They were punctual and very professional. "We purchased a house and adding a whole house water filter was on our list. Our local Orbit dealer performed a free water test and confirmed a that a lot of the junk we had read was in our city water was in fact there. Our previous house also had hard water and we saw firsthand what it did to our pipes and hot water tank. Plus we were tired of a filtered water pitcher taking up space in our refrigerator. Our sales person went over all of the features of the Puronics 7000 system and outlined the maintenance which simple and easy to understand. "Frank Tedeschi and his men did an amazing job. The buffet had sustained substantial damage, both to the interior (drawer and frame crushed by an unsecured heavy shelf board) and the exterior (multiple scratches and dents, and two drawer faces that required replacing). Frank went to a great deal of trouble to match the wood that needed replacing, and the repaired and refinished piece looks as if it had never been damaged in the first place. We are more than delighted with the result! Frank and his crew had previously done a great job stripping and refinishing a large mid-century book/display shelf for us."

"He told me he thinks there is a leak. At the end of the cables a blue cement or something, which is a cheap way of fixing a leak. He said he could have a problem fixing it. He was able to fix the issue within three hours from start to finish. The prices are high but they do good work!"
