Corey W (H) was the tech that came out to the house and troubleshooted/resolved the problem (leaking refrigerant). He also advised on probability of future repairs. Sadly, the unit performed well for only a short time before failing. It was time to consider my options. Repairs were becoming more frequent and costly. Tyler (H System Designer) visited and walked around my house inspecting my current HVAC system. We discussed repairing or replacing my ailing AC unit. He recommended replacing with a split ductless system and emailed a quote for 1. Enhanced Mitsubishi hyper heat mini split system (system) 2. Favorable financing options - low interest rates and affordable monthly payments. The install took a week. "I can’t say enough excellent things about Lance, the service technician who came out! We just purchased our first home so imagine our surprise when barely a month in the large grand chandelier fell from the ceiling in the early morning. I was going to replace it myself but remembered our home inspection pointed out some instances of aluminum wiring in the house so I thought I should have an electrician confirm the outlet was properly done before I go mucking around in the ceiling. Although it cost me an emergency dispatch fee, they had someone in my house first thing the very next morning. Lance was prompt and just so amazing - very kind and careful with keeping our house clean, taking care of the floors and finishings and really went above and beyond to help a very frazzled young family try figure out the mess they just purchased. While he was at our house we opted to have him also see if he could remove two outlets in the dining room from a dimmer switch so they can be always on. He explained the pricing up front and I knew what the job would cost as a final number before he began any work. For the first job, I was very impressed with how thorough and complete he was in taking care of not just the replacement chandelier, but even with safely disposing of the now broken old chandelier for us! He even offered to help move some boxes for the Salvation Army pick-up we had scheduled - I was just blown away by how kind and helpful he was! For the second job, I was so very pleased that he took the time to really figure out what was wrong. He ended up spending almost three hours discovering several issues - including things like faulty attempts at mitigating aluminum wire connection points in several outlets that we received confirmation prior to settling on the home had been fixed. He was able to come up with creative solutions to safely leverage what was already available to solve our problem and the best part is he really took the time to not only do it right, but to explain everything as he went and really helped me learn more about my house and how I can discover and resolve similar problems in the future. Being someone who is always trying to learn I really appreciated his willingness to answer my questions and share his depth of knowledge and experience! In the end, even though the job was a lot longer than either of us thought it would be, and even though the original cause for the emergency dispatch was already resolved, Lance made sure he stayed until we had a solution in place and we still only paid the initial quoted price! Yes, the price did seem a bit high compared to what I’ve seen on other provider’s quoted rates. However, the work really is just that good - absolutely worth it AND charging by the job instead of the hour takes all of the guessing out of how much you will need to pay, not to mention covers situations like this where the job ended up taking quite a bit longer than originally anticipated. We couldn’t be happier. We were so pleased with the service that we also signed up for their annual service plan to avoid emergency dispatch fees in the future and to get their annual safety inspection. There’s a lot of uncertainty associated with buying our first home, but at least we now know who we will call for all of our electrical needs!"

"Pohlman responded quickly when my water heater leaked and quickly replaced it at a competitive rate. I asked for multiple quotes and they were one of the first to respond. I appreciate the work, although I would have preferred to know which water heater was being installed before they put it in."

"Not only did they replace my old oil system with a heat pump, they replaced my entire AC system as well. Much more efficient, included new thermostats which are operated via mobile devices, and gave me peace of mind. Recommended an appropriate heating and AC system, replaced everything and did it in an efficient manner. Much more reasonably priced than all other quotes, prompt service & quick completion of the task. Didn't try to talk over my head about things that I wouldn't understand, explained it clearly and effectively. Highly recommend to anyone needing any type of heating or cooling repairs or replacements."

"Excellent experience working with Andy and his AJB Mechanical team to get my heat pump unit replaced on short notice. Everything was done on time and in a very professional manner. They took the time to explain what all needed to be done prior to and during the install so that there were no surprises. Once done they took the time to explain how to operate the new thermostat. I wouldn't hesitate a bit to use Andy and his team again should the need arise in the future."

"We had a new hvac system installed. New duct work is beautiful. Deanâ  s did a wonderful job. They came recommended from my mom who had them install a new unit in her home. We are so pleased we called them. Very experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. You will not be dissatisfied with Deanâ  s heating and air conditioning."

"Henry and John provided the service and were very professional. Although they arrived a bit later than expected, the inspection was performed efficiently and completed well within the one hour I had expected it to take. I had been remiss in replacing my filters and Henry explained to me why it is important to change them every three months. Knowing the possible consequences will lead me to be more responsible in the future. My A/C unit is installed in an attic and even though the ladder I provided was rather short, Henry said not to bother getting a longer one and made do with what I had provided. John volunteered to carry the ladder back downstairs and carried the longer, heavy wooden ladder out to the yard for me. I was also pleased that both men put on shoe covers to walk through my house. In sum, the service was carried out professionally and cordially and I would definitely use their services again."

"They (two of them) arrived on time and did an excellent job. Dryer vent cleaning was not included in the original price but they cleaned it as a bonus (dryer vent is very small, it covers the length just across the wall). The guy was trying to push me to put UV lamps in the cooling unit and also put "organic" chemicals in the vents to prevent fungi (which were rather expensive). I guessed those were just useless gimmicks to get money, so I politely refused and they didn't press me further."

"He spent a lot of time explaining things and even went out of his way to help repair a humidifier. In the process, he also found a number of things to be replaced and/or repaired. Assuming my units work properly (its too cold now to really test), I think it was worth it. I was concerned when one unit stopped working during his work. He was able to find that a connection was not working and switched wires. Given all the press about AC repair vendors that find ways to break things so that they need to be replaced, I was wary. In fact, that's why I put off the inspection this long. Nevertheless, the time and effort Ivan spent explaining things to me and showing them to me made me feel more comfortable. So...a $100 inspection turned into a $550 preventative repair, plus more in the winter......but for now, I would definitely call him back."
