"Finally an honest Solar company!! I went through several companies trying to get quotes for one of my properties, either they were ridiculously expensive or they didn't return my calls. A friend of mine referred me to Mega Sun and I have to say I am very pleased. Within a couple days from the initial phone call I already had an estimate and once i decided to go with them the installation was completed in one week. Its been a little over a month since they completed the install and everything is working smoothly.

"The provider showed up on time as promised. After about 40 minutes the service guy was wrapping up and had to ask him to redo some sections that were clearly not clean. Also missed stairs completely. They did finish it up and final job was fine. Had some trouble communicating with service guy as his English was limited. Wasn't terrible but wouldn't use again.

"Great company and good service. Charlie from landmark construction came over to check and see the work that I wanted to do and after our first meeting, he came back and provided me with several options of color combinations for the paint. In additional to that, Charlie repaired some cracks that the walls had and he included that in the estimate as well. The work was performed by his workers and they did a great job! The tankless system that he installed for me came out as the best part of the work because it provided me with hot water while saving the gas when I'm not using it. During the work, I noticed that Charlie is pretty honest man and his estimate was pretty much very good.

The technicians seemed to know their way around my Trane unit. Neither the techs nor owner tried to upsell me repairs or products I didn't need."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"The three installers were very friendly and answered questions we had. The windows have made a huge difference in the heating/cooling of our home (of course, our previous windows were 23 years old!).
We had 32 windows and 1 slider installed. The windows themselves were all done very well; however, the installers didn't get everything done as specified. All window coverings were not put back up, as well as there were some to be rehung if there was a conflict with the new windows and not all were changed, and quite a few window sills had some denting or marring. Since this is the first time we have ever had window replacements, I do not know if this is normal.
With that being said, I should specify that one of the installers had to go to Sacramento on the last day because there was an entire box containing the wrong item; therefore, he was gone for approximately three hours.
They were very conscious of our request to have the master bedroom and bathroom done first and finished the eight windows on the first day.
