Because we had already had him out to solve a 1400 dollar flood problem the city blamed us for (and which later turned out to be their fault but they are not willing to pay for), he offered us this super low rate to get all the rest* upgraded (*all the main branches had been upgraded already, namely the verticals to the second floor). Johns original quote was for 1250 to do all the horizontals, so since i had him there i asked if he could run gas to our stove. Because of our recent purchases from him and since he was already there, he ran all the gas and got me two (all you need is one) gas cut off valves for an additional 150 bucks. 
Home Depot quoted me 500 for the same job.

"EXCELLENT MASTER PLUMBER!!! Robert replaced my 23 year-old water heater earlier this month (12/01/17). I wasn't experiencing any problems with the water heater other than the facts that it was old, inefficient, and I was on "borrowed time" as far as the life expectancy for water heaters go. Two days ago he came out and repaired the leak in my home fire sprinkler system. Again, he and his apprentice/helper were very professional, efficient, respectful, personable and on point with doing the job properly. The location of the leak in the copper pipe was not in an easy-to-get-to spot; however, Robert was able to adjust, adapt and get the job done. He's a true professional. I will definitely use R.W. Burton's services again whenever I need a plumber. Great plumbers are hard to find. Robert is a great and exceptional plumber! He's a keeper!"
