"Christmas day I went into the basement and the washing machine drain line was overflowing with waste water.
The only lucky piece is that I had a rubber PVC cap I could use to cap the washing machine drain line until the issue could be resolved.
At 9:45pm Christmas night, I called "Easy Flow" and left a detailed message.  Just as I was hanging up, Rob called me back within 1 minute.  I explained the issue to him and he committed to coming over at 9:30am the next day, 12/26.  He was very professional and had a friendly demeanor.
9:30am, Rob arrived.  He presented himself professionally and was cordial.  He agreed to investigate and provide me with an estimate/parts list.  We discussed the issue and the potential solution maybe 10-15 minutes after his arrival.  In discussing the issue he initially suggested a basement "slop sink" to alert us to any problems on the drain line because the main drain line would back up into the sink.  However, my my sewer line is two feet higher than the basement floor which meant that the slop sink would have to be placed really high on the wall in order to properly drain.  Combined with a lack of available wall space in my basement (a window, the main water line and the electrical panel are unfortunately in the same area)...we  opted to go for adding a "one way" valve for the washing machine  drain line so that it would never result in sewage backflow into the basement...at worst the washing machine discharge would flow back into the basement which is a lot cleaner than the sewer line.  Additionally, Rob would add a big PVC cleanout to allow the main sewer drain to be cleaned out if this ever became an issue again.  Rob used a machine to "scrape" the sewer drain line and found a wad of debris in the line that most likely caused the sewer line backup.  Then he fixed the existing washing machine drain line to include the "one way"  valve and a large diameter clean out to allow for cleaning out the main drain if the sewer line ever becomes blocked again.
At approximately 1pm - (Can't recall exact time) Rob had completed all the work and I wrote him a check.  He gave me a $25 discount for being an Angie's list member with a final payment price of $550.
Rob and his assistant were extremely professional.  The work was done quickly and exactly as estimated when the job began.  I would use his services again.
