"Excellent experience. They offered a turn-key solution. They had a roofer install the new exhaust pipe and an electrician to get the wiring to code due to distance requirements. The crew showed up on time and did an very good job. They cleaned up afterwards. Performed all work for the original estimate."

"<p>Unlike many plumbing problems, this was not an emergency but Bryco gave me quick appointment for two days after I called.  The crew chief, named Woody, and an assistant arrived on time and ready to work  Woody evaluated the site and briefed me on the work to be done.  He was knowledgeable, pleasant, professional and obviously determined to do a good job.  He did not disappoint.   Early in the process he encountered an unexpected and unusual complication.  Without missing a beat, he took control of the situation and solved the problem with skill and professional efficiency.  He is to be commended for his technical knowledge and skill as well as his management ability in solving an unusual and stressful problem without leaving any undesirable consequences.  Additionally, the job was physically challenging because the site was cramped and hard to access .</p> <p>The previous installation was extremely old and was buried deeper than usual.  Woody fashioned a network of pipes and joints that overcame the deficiencies of the previous installation and resulted in a top notch job.  </p> <p>The finished product is technical sound and functional.  It took less time to complete than expected and at a fair price, especially considering the unusual challenges.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Woody's performance was outstanding and I thank Bryco for sending him on this job. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"The experience was amazing, from start to finish. I had two vendors come out and give me an estimate for the 30 foot plumbing from the wall, to the middle of my deck where I am housing my new Weber grill. The first plumbing company quoted me, Will's All Pro Plumbing, $3600 -$4600, using composite pipe to do the job. I told the plumber I thought this was at least 5x's my expectation on cost. Fortunately, I called Capps and had a wonderful customer service person (the owner's wife), that professionally managed the two visits her husband made to my house. First to make the estimate and second to the work. After he came out and called me with the estimate, I was nearly passed out, it was 1/8th the cost of the prior estimate at $600. Furthermore, it was using steel pipe, and not the cheaper composite piping. I didn't even let them finish reading out the cost estimate, I asked them to come out and get it started asap! The work was then done, the following day, and the plumber went the extra mile and even setup my grill! I'm a discerning customer, and the work was done fantastically."

"Trying to be a “do it yourself” guy on a Sunday afternoon, I busted a pipe from the water meter. Had to shut off the water to our house. Called Fast Flow and he came right over and repaired it! Never had another problem. Fast response, professional, and reasonable. I highly recommend them."

"Better than excellent. They saved the day by adding us to their already full job list and came the same day I called. The plumbers came in, explained what there were going to do, found the leak and fixed it. Incredibly thankful for the great service."

"<strong>Replaced the thermostat on a Whirlpool hot water heater.  Replaced all the old pipe with 'code' approved pipe and valves.  Obtain a installation permit from the City of Converse, for which the city charged $50.00 dollars.  This was an extra monetary burden placed on me by the city government, that I believe is unjust.  It was enough to pay the plumbing expenses but then the City of Converse charges me to have a plumber repair my broken hot water heater.  I am pleased with the Tuttle Plumbing, the entire staff was helpful in trying to save me money with applying a $200.00 dollar warranty rebate on the thermostat.  The manager Tommy and the plumbers that came to my home; Kevin, Jason, and Matt, were polite, professional and considerate of my extra expenses from the city permit.  I give Tuttle Plumbing 5-stars and the City of Converse 0-stars for a B.S. permit charge of $50.00 dollars...!  Jack Rogers, Retired 100% disabled U.S.M.C combat veteran.</strong> <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Seguin, TX

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
