"Several months ago we decided to remove a very old garden tub and replace it with a walk-in shower. We also had a new vanity top and new fixtures along with a new tile floor. I highly recommend Nicholas Tile & Bath. It was an amazingly smooth process Tom and his crew were great to work with. We had no problems from start to finish. Highly recommend for any tile or bath update."

"Corey came to our home to do an estimate for deck staining late last fall. He noticed some wood that needed replacement and provided a complete estimate including repairs. Shortly after this, the weather turned cold, so we needed to wait until Spring for the work to be done. By Spring, we noticed the rotting wood siding on the house. Corey added this to the estimate. The crew worked hard until the job was done. They were courteous and professional. We are very happy and especially thankful for the excellent communication every step of the way."

"I contacted several builders from Angie's List and provided them with a picture of what I wanted for my Catio. This company was the only one willing to do it. I spoke with Blake and he said they have been building things for 30 years and although this would be their first Catio, he felt the builders could tackle just about anything. Mark and Ruston were able to start the project the next week. Fortunately for me and my cats, Mark is a cat person and understood exactly what I wanted (and why!). Blake was most helpful and went the extra step to correct a stain color that I chose but didn't like. I've worked with many contractors over the years and I believe Mark and Ruston are by far the most competent and professional of all of them. I and my cats are thrilled with the final product.

"This was a lot of work, over a period of a couple months.  Stuart and Jason were great to work with.  Project started with demolishing the old porch enclosure and pouring a new slab at the right height to make the new ,master bathroom and laundry, of course with spaces in it to accommodate the plumbing, at the same floor level as the existing master bedroom and kitchen.  Built the new rooms, which took some cleverness to get the old brick veneer to match up with the new exterior walls.  Took care to match the new windows and doors to the existing design.  Meanwhile, tore out the old kitchen including the floor, then repaired and re-leveled the subfloor.  In selecting what would go into the kitchen, Stuart was able to recommend various suppliers, both retail and wholesale.  He even went with me on a scouting trip for the granite countertop, and put me in touch with a designer for recommendations on the backsplash.  Sustainable Contractors coordinated with the various subcontractors, skilled trades and inspectors and took care of scheduling all the steps in the right order.  Overall they made it very easy for me -- and the end result is beautiful."

"Mike was prompt even though he passed my townhome at the entrance. He called me and I walked him back to my home. I have that happen often so it wasn't a big deal.  I then took him back to the deck and walked around the fencing inside and out so he knew what needed done.  Mike apologized for having me buy only 1 gal. of stain as he had not asked what type of fencing I had.  I explained I would go out after he finshed pressure washing and purchase more.  We agreed on 2 more gals. of stain.  After Mike was done pressure washing, he took a break and I went for stain.  When we got back, I walked around the outside of the fence and found that the side facing the neighbor was not done.  Mike quickly remedied this and apologized for the error.  Mike used dropped cloths when applying the stain so as not to get on my deck or the house siding.  I am still marveling at my deck and fence as they look like new again.  Mike was professional, courteous and personable.  I already lined him up for another project which is scheduled.

"Initially, the work seemed acceptable.  I even tipped him for the extra time.  Once the grout dried the appearance was not uniform and  there was a thick grout haze on the tile in the shower.  I was told it would easily come off once it thoroughly dried.  It did not.  I ended up having to remove the grout and redo it myself.  It took me several hours to scrape off the residue on the tile from the botched job.  In discussions with the DIY store tile department personnel where I purchased my supplies I was told the pre-mix grout used was not designed for wet locations.  Correcting this work took me probably thirty hours.
