"they came out on monday to assess the window - give an estimate - since the qwindow was a double pane lowE / argon window with interior grids between glass , the gentelman informed me that it woul dbe a 5 day lead time to order and manufature the glass unit because it was special order - we did the necesary paper work , gave him a small deposit , and he measured the glas and got it ordered - well the 5 day turnaround actually only eneded up taking 4 days and he had the job done by friday - and it was super fast - he was in and out in 45 mins - start to finish - left my house very clean - washe dthe window - removed the old broken glass and went on his way - very professional , reliable, and curteous . very friendly - overall the job went great - and it was affordable - i have had them do work on my home in the past - replacing foggy glass , broken glass , replacing glass in my patio doors , ....i would defiantely use them and refer them to anyone else in need fo glass work - they have been around for 30+ years and i can see why - they left me very satidfied and happy with the jobs theyve done for me in my home

"I had recently bought a used car which had very a very cheap and distorted windshield previously installed. It was so bad I would get dizzy or get headaches while driving. I called around looking for different prices, and not only was Guardian Auto Glass the cheapest, they were the only company that had a kind, knowledgeable person answering the phones to give me information that I needed. 

I had called around to get quotes, and when I mentioned I had their coupon from Angie's List, they saved the quote under my name so if I could call around some more and come back to them if I wanted. A few weeks went by before I decided to go through with getting my windshield replaced, and they still had the quote saved under my name when I called which was very convenient so I could set up an appointment right away.

They set up my appointment for the next day, in which the mobile service was going to come to my house to do the installation. The employee was right on time, and it took him less than an hour to replace the windshield. The glass is crystal clear, no distortion or imperfections whatsoever. While he was installing the windshield, he was very professional and courteous, and answered all my questions with intelligence and honesty. 

I was very worried about having my windshield replaced, especially considering it had been replaced before with very cheap and dangerous glass, but Guardian Auto Glass exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely do business with them again if needed."

"Danny Siders of Absolute Kitchens and Baths recently updated our kitchen and our master bath. In the kitchen he installed new Wilsonart High Definition laminate countertops, Nova laminate flooring, a tiled backsplash behind the stove, a new Blanco sink, a new Delta faucet, and new drawer pulls. In the bathroom, he raised the cabinets to a better height, installed new Wilsonart High Definition laminate countertops, new sinks, and tiled the floor and the surround of the garden tub. Under the tile floor, he installed a radiant heater. Several years ago, he redid our shower. He was able to find the same tiles he used in that job so that the bathroom tiles all match. This was a large job and we are very happy with how it looks and of our experience with Danny. Over the last 5 years, Danny has renovated 2 other baths and the sink in the laundry room. We have always been extremely happy with the work he has done. The things I appreciate when working with Danny are the ideas he adds to the projects, the craftsmanship he puts into the project, his finishing touches, and his helpfulness. Danny showed up for the initial consult with books of materials and ideas. He listened to what we wanted and then pulled on his experience to help us decide on the best materials for the job. He was aware of new materials and new techniques. We told him our goals and he helped us choose the best materials for the project. He did not push his ideas but helped us clarify ours. Once the project started, he arrived daily at the same time or told us ahead if he would not be there. He cleaned up at the end of the day and caused minimal interruptions to life outside the work area. He is meticulous in his prep work for the project as well as the actual installation. Seams match, edges of tiles are bullnosed where needed, and colors and stains match what was already in the house. One of the most impressive finishing touches was the kick plates under the cabinets and the edgings of the new floor. He used wood edgings that he stained to match the counters and the existing edges of the floor. It gives the new floor a seamless look with the rest of the house. I appreciate Danny’s reliability, craftsmanship, and his attention to finishing details. Danny was also helpful and persistent when we increased the scope of the project and added some additional flooring. The Nova flooring has become increasingly difficult to obtain and when we wanted the small bathroom also refloored, he needed to order more. It was a challenge finding a source for the flooring and then the first shipment came in wrong. Danny worked through all the hassles necessary to get the floor we wanted. He also fixed sticky drawers and a poorly designed waste basket drawer. Not only does our kitchen look wonderful, but the drawers finally all work as they should. At the very end, two of the flooring boards in the small bathroom slipped. Danny readily came back to fix them for no charge. Thank you, Danny, for your perseverance in getting materials and fixing problems along the way. I also appreciate that Danny will call me back and accepts my decisions without recourse to my husband. I have dealt with other contractors who always wanted my husband to concur or only called back when my husband called. Needless to say, I only worked with them one time. Danny Siders has done beautiful work on our renovations. We are very happy with the outcome and with the ease of working with Danny. "We added a "screened-in" porch as part of an addition.  Our contractor suggested single panes of glass and screens, which depending on the season could be installed, removed, and stored.  These single panes would have been too large for us to handle. We would have had to hire someone to install and remove them.  George Minnello and NCE had previously installed new storm doors for us, so we asked him to come out and look over our situation.
George recommended a custom-built screen/window combination.  This consisted of two screens and panes in each opening on tracks.  Both the screens and panes are removable, and can be removed and installed without assistance.  He brought a sample, and we ordered the windows.
The installation took several hours.  These windows and screens suited our needs perfectly and have given us great service for two years."

"My house needed a complete exterior overhaul and glad I found the right company to do it. Northeast Ohio Renovations did a fantastic job and working with Bob Hegedish was a pleasure. Bob was the last one I got an estimate from, but so glad I waited. He ended up having the best price and was able to do all the work I required, which was nice as wanted to have only one contractor if at all possible. He replaced my entire roof, installed new vinyl siding , installed new gutters and downspouts, made some extensive repairs to my front porch, and is installing a new aluminum awning over my side door. All the work is done except for the awning and I couldn't be happier. This was a big undertaking for my wife and I as we have lived in our place for almost 40 years and intend to remain there for as long as the good Lord will let us as we love the place. That is why it was so important that what we did here would be something we would be happy with in both quality and appearance. Bob delivered both! All his crews were exceptional and did great work. They started with replacing the roof as I had already had a few leaks showing up so this was my first priority so that we would not have a lot of plaster or drywall damage from these leaks. Bob sent over his roofing crew chief to survey the work and while there he made a temporary repair to the work leak and this kept water from coming in until they could get back to replace the entire roof.. It wasn't long after that they returned to do the whole roof and worked diligently from start to finish, working on both Saturday and Sunday so they could beat the weather. Bob took the time to also match the exact shingle that was used when we had a new garage built 2 years ago so everything now matches perfectly. I have often been told a true measure of a company is not how they perform when everything goes right, but how they perform when things don't and Northeast Ohio Renovations passed this test with flying colors. About 3 weeks after the roof was complete and a couple of days before Thanksgiving, about 10 PM as it started to rain and sleet, I noticed water leaking at one of the areas where it had leaked previously. I was stunned as it had rained several time previously since they completed the roof replacement with no problem. I texted Bob that night and he answered immediately that he would send his roofer over to investigate the next day. I was contacted by them the next day but it was below freezing and the roofer said he wanted to check the area with a hose. It was also not supposed to rain for a few days so he asked if OK to come by the day after Thanksgiving as it was forecast to be warm and dry that day. They showed up on Friday true to their word and took a hose to the area to really see what was going on. They found out the leak was caused by a problem with a seal around the glass of one of my skylights, NOT anything they had installed, but they re-caulked the entire perimeter of the skylight anyhow and I have not had a problem since! The next project up was to vinyl side the entire house and Bob's crew has to be the best around. I know he said he had just has the one crew because he can't find the quality of installers he has on this crew and didn't want to give people a lesser quality installation because of it. I wasn't sure if I believed him, but do now. Danny and his crew are "artists" when it comes to vinyl siding and trim. The work was impeccable and details so well thought out. I am an architect by training and work in construction myself so can be a little particular, but don't think I could find one thing I would have done differently. I had to wait a few weeks to get the siding done since he only has the one crew, but definitely worth the wait. Bob also worked with me in what to do with the gables of the house and porch as while the siding itself was white these areas were covered with some type of green shingle-type material that did give some different texture and did provided some accent to the house's appearance. I originally thought about just covering these with the same white siding as the rest of the house, but wasn't certain how that would look since it would be so monolithic. With Bob's help we looked at going to a different color in these areas and settled on a medium grey to offset the white and it looks great! I couldn't be happier with how it looks and know I won't have to worry about painting forever! Danny also made my porch repairs and Bob was very patient to work with me in keeping costs to a minimum but yet making sure we took care of anything that really needed replacing. The porch was re-done about 30 years ago but had some floor boards and columns that had rotted out and needed replacing. Bob and Danny decided exactly what needed to be replaced and what was still good and now it looks like it did 30 years ago and should be good for anther 30! The gutters were the last thing done and, again, were perfect. I had gutter screens installed on the old gutters about 10 years ago and Bob said they were of good quality and still in good shape so they removed them prior to doing the roofing and then reinstalled them after the new gutters were installed so this saved me money. I know others would have tried to talk me into new ones. I am just waiting for my door awning to be fabricated and installed to have the project complete, but couldn't wait to share my experience with Northeast Ohio Renovations. I have been a member of Angie's List for many years with much success in the vendors I have used, but never felt compelled to write a review until now. I had never met Bob before I found him through Angie's List and he offered absolutely no incentives to write this review. I just like a man who does what he says he will do, does it well, and at at a fair price. I will definitely recommend him to my friends and call him for any other home renovation needs I may have. I highly recommend him if your are looking to do any similar type work."
