"Richie discusses materials he uses when you ask him. He came and gave me an estimate in numbers on his business card but not a description or work with materials to be used. I called him a few times to discuss materials, he uses roofing waterproof membranes not suggested by company, and received a call back a few days later. So he gave me his cell number to expedite agreement on materials. He came back another time to look at other work I wanted done and gave me prices again verbally, but no written estimate. I made an appointment for the work to be done.Then he said, as he was leaving, "I will give you a contract after the work is done and you pay me." I texted him to clarify this statement but no response . So I texted again to cancel and he said how did I get his cell number and his phone was broken. He is very polite and wished me luck. I never responded. What good is hiring a Super Service Award contractor if the basic business practices , like giving proper estimates and contracts, are not adhered to in a timely fashion."
