"Gardner supplied an estimate back in November, but because of the holidays, we didn't act immediately. Once we'd had our first rain this year, we realized we needed to act again, and Gardner honored our original estimate. I think I called on a Friday, and they offered to do the job the following Wednesday. I had to do minimum prep to make the basement ready for them. They arrived promptly at 7:30, the time they had scheduled to start. There were 3 people on site to work, including the owner. It took them about 7 hours to complete the work. They left our basement clean. They were good about asking how we wanted things done--where we wanted to place the sump pump and the drainage pipe. They patched part of the foundation where the concrete had chipped away. We haven't had enough rain yet to really put their work to the test, but we are impressed with their workmanship and felt the price was reasonable for the work done.

The city I live in ended up reaching out near the end of the permit date and I didnt know about it until then. "From start to finish Luke did a fantastic job with our project. We needed our driveway apron raised so it would be level with our garage and needed several voids filled in to prevent further water damage. I called on a Friday and Luke drove out to us on the following Tuesday to give us a quote. He took the time to explain his approach to the project, estimated cost, and even provided us with a free tube of caulk (even though we hadn’t committed to his services yet). He was friendly and professional and did a great job for a very reasonable price. "Rob was very prompt arranging an interview, was totally professional throughout. Very, very easy to work with and very responsive to questions and concerns. His crew was very polite, took great care to cover floors, and cleaned up very thoroughly after they finished. Had a leak from the utility sink after the install - foreman came an hour after I called and fixed the problem and cleaned up the water. A couple weeks later there was water again under one of the windows. Rob and his foreman came at 9:30 that night, a half hour after I called, to look at the problem, which was from the window well. The crew was back the next day, fixed the problem, and the basement has been dry ever since. I would absolutely recommend Rob and his crew and am thrilled the basement isn't wet anymore!

"For 9 years we've had intermittent problems with water in basement, mostly only after heavy rain and/or snow melt. Spring/Summer of 2014 was the last straw. Got several estimates for drain tile/sump system. Gardner's was not the cheapest, but was very much in line with most other bids. The other contractor I was considering was booked out to June of 2015, and we didn't want to wait for the spring thaw. Gardner's was available in early March, so I chose them for the work.
Before hand I had to remove a lot of shelving and some carpeting, but Jerry's crew did move the washer, dryer, and wash basin. As agreed, I had to move those back after the new concrete cured.
Work was estimated to take a day and a half, but Jerry had extra help available and called out reinforcements. The crew got the entire job done in about 7 hours. As expected there was a certain amount of dust and debris to clean up, but very very little. They did as neat and clean a job as we expected and better.
I have waited to write this review until I could determine that the system was working. Since the spring was not unusually wet (like the previous year) I don't think the pump had to run at all until a very heavy rain on July 6. Then I could hear the water draining into the sump basin, and the pump was moving it out. So far the basement has remained bone dry.
With the slope on the property we've only ever had water problems at the back side of the basement, hence Jerry and I thought we could get by with a partial drain tile job. If we ever do get seepage in the front half I will definitely have Jerry and his crew back to do the remaining perimeter, and he assures me it will be no problem to tie into the existing system without having to install another basin and pump.
