Tom has excellent customer service skills, responded promptly to all communications, provided very detailed invoices and worked very hard to assure I was completly satisfied with the outcome. Although the work needed was far more extensive once they scaled the walls, and assessed the situation, Tom worked to assure that additional costs were more than fair and the crew performed a number of additional services at no charge. "Great! The inspector who came for the free estimate was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. He was the first of three I got. The project was the same for all estimates... the entire basement perimeter with a waterproofing system and a sump pump system. He didn't try to "sell" me MANY other unnecessary products like one of the companies. He explained what and why everything was for. He followed up a day later and I called back to schedule the work a week later after my last estimate. His was $4900, another was $5500 and one company was $8200! The crew arrived at 8:30am on a Friday morning and worked hard all day. They sent "extra guys" to finish in one day, I really liked that part. The guys worked hard and cleaned up great. I asked them about hauling away a few extra things of mine and they did. "Seth responded in a timely manner, proposed several ways of solving the problem, and offered additional suggestions to help with the drainage around the stairwell, which was the source of the original damage. He was willing to look at the project holistically, and knowledgable on all aspects of the job. Many concrete companies will limit their involvement to only the concrete work itself, but most projects are rarely so clear cut. We had a portion of the wall rebuilt with new block, new rebar, and a finish parge coat. Railings were removed and reinstalled. The grade was modified using new fill, new river rock and edging."
