"Excellent all around experience!!!!!!!! After a series of storms and gradual water soaking our basement carpet several times, I finally called Waterproofing One in April, 2017 after seeing their ad several times on our St. Basil's church bulletin. I spoke initially with the owner-Joe who was helpful and he dispatched Dave Cook who came over within an hour. Dave Cook has been in this business and related utility engineering previously for over 30 years and really knows his stuff. Dave was extremely thorough, spending time in the basement, looking at some pictures I took of the damage and spent a considerable amount of time walking around the exterior of my property and reviewing the landscaping where most problems start. Dave wrote up a report of what work was needed including extending downspouts, recommending we have our contractor add a louvered door at the top of the steps for aeration (a great idea given no windows in basement) , waterproofing the well water closet walls, spraying impacted area for potential mold, and installing a new French drain and sump-pump system with battery backup. Gene and his crew then came over on May 17, 2018 and performed the construction and installation work and did a great job. Those guys worked extremely hard in what is inherently a muddy line of work and were very courteous, professional and left the basement very clean. Gene took extra time to show us exactly what they were doing as they drilled holes into the lower cinder block walls, laying of the perforated pipe and some of the damp mold on the wooded studs he extracted at the impacted area. We paid exactly what Dave originally quoted! Dave Cook came back checked on things and made some other recommendations including adding stones around the foundation outside and in holes to avoid soil erosion and soften the acceleration of rain water into the ground. Once the work was finished and our carpenter redid the walls and painting, We had subsequently refinished the basement with high end vapor/mold resistant padding from Mohawk and a quality polyester carpet. 15 months later and here we are on September 30, 2019 after 50+ rain storms since installation and NO WATER nor Mold issues in the basement!!! We are really enjoying our basement again thanks to WATERPROOFING ONE!!!! 5-STARS!!!!!!!!"

"Arizona Dry Waterproofing is run by a very knowledgeable, hardworking, and honest owner in Ron Rothberg. Our property in Lower Merion had some basement water intrusion every time it heavily rained. We went out and got about 5 quotes initially. Ron wasn't the lowest quote we got, but he was the 2nd lowest, and was very knowledgeable without being very pushy on services as some competitors were. Ron decided that digging and fixing the exterior barrier was the best path to take, so his crew spent 3 days digging an 8 foot trench near the wall that had the leakage and then sealing up holes, applying layers of sealants to waterproof that side before putting back the soil. Next rainstorm, rain came in on the same side, but slightly different location. Ron and his team returned for a few more hours and helped us installed a French drain and sump pump on that side of the wall as part of the original cost, because his exterior approach didn't work. He didn't try to dodge responsibility. He just fixed the problem and punctually too. We've now observed a month of rain, and no more water is intruding into the basement, so I am glad to be able to give Arizona Dry Waterproofing this 5* review. I had to pay to put back the flagstone on the exterior and the wood paneling in the basement wall myself separately, as they don't work with those, so add about $1000 to your own budget when doing a project like this for the cleanup work. You won't regret going with Arizona Dry!"
