"I contracted Virginia Foundation Solutions because of an issue I had with water seeping through the concrete/cinder block wall to the garage during heavy/steady rains and would install a weeping tile and pump system. The crew that came out to the job site, Joel, Alex, Tomas and Jacke known as "The Blue Crew", were on time and started the work right away. They were cognizant of the plumbing to the water well and the electrical on that side of the house. They were very careful during the excavation. The work took a good part of the day, and when it was completed, I couldn't have been happier with the overall results. I had brick pavers that I was able to incorporate into the landscape to frame out the upper layer of rock that was applied over the drainage rock and weeping tile/tubing. The testing of the pump functioned perfectly, and the electrical work was contracted through DT Electric LLC. "Very quick and efficient application of foam - done in one morning. However, not informed that in sealing the crawlspace walls such application of foam would negate our termite control bond as the walls can no longer be inspected for termite tunnels. As such, we had to go with a more expensive and invasive termite contract to ensure that our protection continued."

"The technician reported no current infestation of termites, although there was evidence of previous termite activity. I confirmed that there had been termites but was treated by the previous owner before selling the house.
The tech also measure the space to determine moisture content and found that overall the percentage was in normal limits there was a higher level underneath the bathroom. Later after I inspected the bathroom, I detected a leak coming from the pipe elbow at the top where the shower head connects. Fortunately, I was able to repair the leak before substantial damage had occurred.
Overall the service was great, the technician was pleasant and knowledgeable and possibly saved me a lot of money for expensive water damage in the bathroom floor.
