How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because : After returning from Vietnam our owner, Mike Watkins, was looking for any kind of work he could find. He started working for an A/C company as a Duct Installer, after a year or so he left to work for another A/C company as a installer and service technician. After a few years he left the business to pursue a business of his own. Several years later he met Nick, the owner of Four Seasons Air Systems. He then began to purchase the company from him in 1995. Mike worked as owner, installer and service technician along with 1 other person. Fast forward several years - his brother, Curtis, started working with him, and later his daughter and son-in-law. Eventually his daughter, Christina, and son-in-law, Blake, will be proud owners of Four Seasons Air Systems, but in the meantime - Mike is enjoying watching his company flourish, and being able to satisfy his customers home comfort needs!.

We started in this industry in 1972.

Install a Central Air Conditioning System

I took 5 bids on a full replacement air handler & A/C condenser. Mike (the owner) was the only one of five to draft multiple proposals with model numbers and details. Wound up with a 17 SEER 5 Ton system no interest for 5 years for less than the closest bid on a 15 SEER system. Completely satisfied, no pressure, over 30 days between bid and project completion to fit my schedule...If you dont get a bid from Four Seasons, youre doing it wrong. Jesus Saves!

Replaced my entire AC and Heating units. Fast very professional. Came in below the competitor price and didn't try to up sell unnecessary items. They left us with a clean home and attic and I was totally satisfied with every part of this purchase from sale to installation to cleanup and then call back from the office to make sure I was satisfied. Just OUTSTANDING SERVICE.

They went beyond my expectation. I can't believe how poor the workmanship of my older unit was installed, after seeing, the high degree of attention to detail the Four Season team perform to my entire HVAC system. This company offered a "fair" price and top quality product- something you used to hear about in the "good old days"!

Extremely satisfied, top notch installation of new a/c and gas furnace system. Four Seasons offered the Consumer Reports #1 rated equipment (American Standard), came in well below their competitors bids and completed a very clean and timely installation. Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
