Jim is very friendly and knowledgeable about what I needed done to my step and porch. He added a step because it was too high of a step to reach my porch. Now I can walk up and down the steps with any pain. Great price.

I am still waiting for him to complete the job. He quoted me 7500 for concrete work and said he would be finished about 3 to 4 day. He started out fine first couple of days then he didnÂ’t come back after his final payment. He should have been finished with the job by the 17th. I have texted him and asked him to finish but he has not come back. I paid him all of his money. No one will touch the work because he left the job so messed up. I need my concrete finished and HomeAdvisor should not recommend him any more work until he finishes this job. I am never using HomeAdvisor again. It is now the 21st of May and he texted me and said he would be here at 9 am but he did not show up. I am so upset I will be reporting him to BBB with pictures of course and if this is no resolved within the next week I will be going to small claims court. Geraldine Fox

The concrete was graded the wrong direction. He promised to fix it, the solution required him to rip off the top of my stone wall. He did that portion and has not come back since, He does not return my calls or texts and has missed appointments

Good initial contact; arrived quickly, set up scaffolding and he and helper did job in same day to clean/inspect fireplace and cap chimney due to critter problem. A bit perplexed about how estimate went from $1,000.00 to over $2,000.00 after he climbed scaffolding, created a bit of drama, acting as though I had a really serious problem with cement chimney cap, upon which he should me a broken piece from top of my chimney (wasn't broken or damaged a couple years ago when it was re-mortared for water damage). I agreed and he repaired it, but when I looked at the new cap and job from the street I noted mortar all over the fairly new shingles (new roof not long ago). He indicated it would all wash away after 1st rain. It rained and it still looks terrible; I'm thinking it would have been nice if he had used a drop cloth and cleaned up better. In addition, the newer mortar looks to have been smeared, as if by hand, rather than using proper tools; very sloppy in my opinion. There are now a couple metal pieces still on the roof; apparently cut remnants of the aluminum or wire mesh he had cut. I requested an itemized receipt and asked him to return to remove the debris. He hasn't returned call or showed up since. If you need a job done quickly, you can call him, but at least ask him to be neat. I like that he responded quickly but really not satisfied with the appearance. Looks like hell from the street; mortar all over the shingles and otherwise nice brick-work; not sure it'll ever be the same. Unsure about whether this can be repaired without removing or replacing those nice old kiln-fired bricks. I may need to get a roofer to repair or replace ruined shingles just to make it look better. If your job can wait, I'd recommend getting several estimates with local references.
