Write a Reviewvery professional install. helped rework legacy issues with HVaC system- wasn’t just “swap box out”. also 10 year parts and labor means they have vested interest in doing it right. i would recommend and would use again.
Excellent service
I closed the deal with Julian on late Tuesday night and the team was able to do the installation the next morning! Jesse gave me the details on the team as the ink was drying. They arrived on time first thing in the morning. Dan, Cal and Greg were a great team that stayed active all day. Seriously over 12 hours! They installed a new Hot water heater and an 18 Seer Lennox Heat Pump with Honeywell Humidifier and Honeywell Home Thermostats. My 17 year old system was tightly packed into the basement. I think the basement was built around it. They replaced everything...ducts, hoses, fuses boxes, wires and pipes. Everything was insulated and finally brought to code with new sensors and alarms. After working all day, they ended the evening cleaning up and taking me through the system in great detail. It has only been a couple hours but everything is running great. I talked to several vendors when making my choice. I liked several of them and they dealt with my silly process. Julian was very thorough with his pitch. He told me about the factors that differentiates them from the others. I believe I made a great choice. Merry Christmas!
I was very impressed with this company from beginning to end. When they gave me an estimate, they spent 90 minutes with me to make sure I selected the right furnace and AC. The crew came two days later and installed the furnace and AC in one day. Great job! Very happy with the whole experience. I highly recommend this company to others.
Please Read Update at Bottom** If you bought a furnace from Snell, check your unit to make sure you got what you paid for! Original Review: We had a major part of an old furnace fail. Before committing to a new furnace, I wanted to weigh temporary repairs with the cost of a new system. For free, Snell dispatched a service tech for a quote on repairs and a sales consultant for a quote on a new system. Both arrived promptly on the same day - the sales consultant exactly at the schedule time and the service man within the appointment window. Both Stan and Ricardo were polite, professional, and friendly. Ricardo promptly did an inspection and provided a detailed quote (itemized by part) and was patient and knowledgeable in answering questions about possible longevity on existing parts, options for repairs, etc. Stan the sales consultant was also thorough and professional. He provided a number of potential options for replacement systems at various price points. Without any pressure, he patiently explained the differences between the options. When presented with quotes and options from other companies, Stan explained why Snell's options were better, why Snell provided better service, and was willing to negotiate to get to a deal that worked for Snell and us. he arranged for installation within 24 hours. When the installers arrived, they were professional, friendly, and respectful of our home. They ensured that their work did not create undue mess, and were careful to clean up as the worked so there was never a mess of material or tools. They worked diligently and efficiently and even noticed a problem with a connection on another appliance - which they kindly fixed while they worked. They took the time to explain things and answer questions. When they were done they made sure that everything was neat and tidy and there was no evidence of their work other than a beautifully-installed new furnace. Snell really is different than other companies we've dealt with. They're responsive, prompt, and professional and I recommend them highly for anyone looking for HVC repair or installation. UPDATE: "Stand up guys," you say? More like the "Stick up guys!" All the guarantees you crow about? To paraphrase the late, great Chris Farley, the Snell "guarantee fairy is some crazy glue sniffer who sneaks into your house and rips you off. Next thing you know, there's money missing off your dresser and your daughter is knocked up! I've seen it a hundred times." If you've bought a furnace (or AC unit) from Snell, I advise you to check the serial number on your unit to ensure they installed what you paid for. I should have known it was too good to be true - to think there are furnace techs and salesmen who sit at your kitchen table and are honest, who drink your coffee, eat your mother-in-law's cookies and accept your tips and don't completely rip you off. I changed my review because when I went to get the serial number off my new furnace to register it with the manufacturer, I noticed that it is a 66K BTU unit and *NOT* the 90K BTU unit that Stan, a Snell rep named Mr. Brown, and I agreed to. When I emailed Stan clarifying our agreement on a 90K BTU unit, he replied "Yes, but they may have used a 70k BTU since you changed to a higher efficiency." So this is clearly something he was tracking. I also just noticed that someone forged my signature on the "Installation Quality Audit" pdf they sent me. Either this was an accident, and Snell employees cannot tell the difference between a 66K BTU unit and 90K BTU unit (and thus clearly not as well trained as they claim) or this was on purpose and looks a lot like bait-and-switch fraud.
very professional and very responsive
Super job by the technician and a reasonable price for the work done. I think the $99 visit fee should be credited against the repair, but overall Iâ m extremely satisfied.
My air conditioning was repaired, now it's nice and cool in the house .
Punctual and courteous.
