"I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. "McCrea replaced a 20 year old HVAC system with a new Trane 4-ton XL16i condenser, XV80 furnace and new coils. The salesman, Mark, was very responsive to my request for quote changes or additional items, including financing options. He was very knowledgeable and patient through the entire process as I worked with other companies for competing quotes. As a result of Mark’s recommendations and excellent pricing, I added on a new Aprilaire 1210 filter box (including replacing a portion of the return duct work/box) and an Aprilaire 600M whole house humidifier. I was able to schedule install four days after signing the contract. The installers, Charles and Christian, arrived on time and removed the old and installed the new in about 7 hours. They provided an overview of system operation and cleaned up so well, you couldn’t tell that a significant installation had occurred. "Unlike another provider whom I did not hire, arrived exactly on time for the site survey. Worksite in Spotslyvania, VA, and I live in Arnold, MD, so about a 2 hr drive for me. Had a firm proposal within 24 hours, install was scheduled that day. On install day, technician arrived exactly on time, following all COVID precautions. Work was completed in slightly less time than he projected. Quality of the work was first rate. Left the house and area surrounding the work - install new heat pump outdoor unit and indoor unit in attic - cleaner than when they started. All three technicians who worked the project were just terrific. Friendly, respectful of the property, very informative. They made sure I understood the improvements they'd made to the ancillary portions of the system (e.g. drain pan and condensate drains from the attic), and worked through the new thermostat details as well. Everyone I'm came in contact with from Advanced Environment Solutions was professional, responsive and were truly interested in making sure I got what I needed. There is one other reason why I would implicitly trust these folks. When the president of the company (John Smith) came out to do the estimate, he carefully explained the various levels of the systems that would match the house. He did NOT try to "upsell" me on a system that was more expensive than the property warranted. He carefully explained the technical benefits of proposed upgrades to the drain systems and the need to install a path from the attic entrance to the interior unit for safety (agreed immediately). I'm a licensed mechanical engineer, and his explanations were complete and accurate. In sum, a highly professional company, exacting standards of technical performance, they listen to their customers and their integrity is unmatched."

"It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. "Matt, Paul and Jonathan arrived on time ready to work. They explained what they were going to do and started by insuring our house would be protected from removal of the old system. Everything that Fred Ouellette explained during the estimate visit a month earlier was right on. after the installation they took the time to explain the new thermostat until we were comfortable with operating it. After they left, I took one more look around the house and noticed they forgot to put putty around the opening of the house were the pipes and wire entered. i thought no big deal i'll just get some and do it myself, about an hour later, Matt rang the doorbell and said he saw the putty in the truck when he got back to the office and on his way home from a long days work stopped by to finish the job. Honest hard working people."
