"Hiring Robinson Mechanical is one of the best decisions I ever made as a homeowner (and I am 53). Dave Robinson is skilled, thoughtful about all aspects of the job, knowledgeable, kind and service oriented. His team is too, and they did a great job. The office is also responsive, communicative and service oriented. Robinson Mechanical installed a complete 2 zone AC system in our Ventnor home. We have radiator heat and were using window units to cool the house in the summer. This job involved installing the duct work, floor vents, ceiling vents, returns, 2 air handlers, 2 compressors, 2 smart thermostats. I am so happy. I can't wait for summer. Robinson Mechanical also did plumbing work for us. They removed and replaced our waste water line from the second floor to the basement, they cleaned out our hot water heater and replaced old cast iron water lines. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing or HVAC needs that you have. I am so grateful for the thought and care that Dave and his team puts into their work. I won't be calling anybody but Robinson Mechanical from now on."

"Used this company about a year ago for some AC issues I had. Turns out the system was losing Freon or the original installer didn't put enough in. Tom came out and took care of it making sure all my lines were good and the system was set up properly. If I have any issues I just call him and I know it'll get done right and with no BS."

"Kenny from Horizon was very professional and a great guy. I appreciated his insight. He was just doing his job. He was very pleasant. However, I was disappointed in a tune up amounting to just a check of voltage on my motor and capacitors. I thought there would be cleaning involved and an adding of a pound of freon to my unit as advertised. That didn't happen. I received an estimate of over $700 for the replacement of 3 capacitors. I could replace all 3 for under $50. To charge $650 labor is raping the customer. Then the blower motor (that is NOT multispeed) was estimated at about $1100 replacement. The motor costs $210. So again...I feel raped. For a charge of almost$900 for labor. Unbelievable! I've lost my trust in companies that are so money hungry that they lose sight of reasonable business. I will now change out my own parts as I have no confidence of reasonable pricing. Maybe people can afford to be overcharged about $1100. I can't and I won't if I can help it. Next time I'll use my own voltage meter and check my motor voltage and resistance on my capisiters myself. They should be paying me for their so called "tune-ups" as they are only a ploy to pressure you to buy a new furnace/AC system. Ohh and they won't install a new furnace to an old AC unit and Visa versa. That's what the guy told me. Are you kidding me? He told me it would cost$11,000-17,000 for a new system. My father in law just replaced both for $9,000.... So again a minimum of $2,000 overcharge. Nope, Horizon, your scam won't work with me. I'll be glad to tell everyone I meet and show them your ridiculous estimates!"

I hired this company and throughout the whole process I felt that they listened to me, knew I was sick, took my issue seriously, and found out I had carbon dioxide in my house. From the secretory to the trouble shooter and from the business end and installers everything was professional and caring."

"We used them at our previous townhome so when we moved here, we decided to have them put in the new unit. They did a great job. I like the fact that their prompt response, if you have a problem, like if you have a heating or air conditioning problem, they're right on it. And Actually if you call before the cut off at 10 PM, they come that night. After 10 PM, they have to come out the next day. Our problem was at 10:30 at night, we realized it wasn't blowing cold air. If we had called a little earlier, they would have came right out. They have enough people to service problems, which is nice, instead of having just one guy. I think they're prices are great, I just don't remember exactly what we paid for the unit. I wouldn't have used them to begin with if they didn't have a good price."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."
