Both the sales rep, Brandon, and the onsite project manager, Matt, were professional, efficient and personable. There were no games on the sales side and the work was perfectly executed. The field team was professional and efficient and provided quality work on all phases of the project. Our personal property was protected and cleanup was excellent, with the entire 45 square roof completed in a single day. We can't think of any way this project could have been better than it was. "The owner was responsive to provide a bid and started work on the agreed upon day. The foundation repair seems to be of good quality and I would recommend them for this type of repair. They work met all expectations for this portion of the project. We included a small tuck pointing project on a wall and masonry refinishing of a porch step as part of the contract. This small part of the project overshadows the entire job based on the poor quality of work. The pictures below show the tuck pointing AFTER the first attempt to fix the problem. They did not even touch the worst bricks at the top and poorly applied masonry on the bottom part as shown in the picture. On the step, they patched the a portion that was flaking and left the remainder of the step untouched. The owner said he didn't think we had agreed to fix the whole step (why would anyone only patch one foot of a six foot step? ...and it was specified in the contract). He made the requested repairs after the first attempt and less than two weeks later, the second picture shows the end results. It crumbled like sand without touching it! I emailed the owner and asked how he would like to handle the situation and he never responded back. Masonry work is not their specialty....Floors Sag and Shake doesn't apply to masonry! I don't normally write reviews, but I can't let this go without sharing."

".the inspector,vann showed up on time..he explained every detail.cleaned and inspected my one chimney,also used camera with video monitor so we could view inside the chimney...he suggested my chimneycap was rusty and in need of crown seal or new custom cap..both were kind of expensive..i decided hold off and maybe get the seal later..vann did not have the inspection forms with him but i did get the inspection report thru email 2 days later...i was happy with the service"

"Robert came out to take a look at our basement leak and an erosion issue we've been having. He not only explained what the source of our leak/erosion problem was, he also walked all the way around the house and pointed out other areas where there were screwups or corners were cut when the house was built. The good news is that the fixes are in most cases relatively minor, e.g. the landscapers covered the french drains in a couple of places when they installed the landscaping, no weep holes added to a retaining wall, etc.
He was really professional and very honest and up front about the cost. He gave his estimate vs. how much a landscaper would probably charge (he'd charge more) and drew up a plan for exactly what we'd need so that when we bring in landscapers they won't try to do a bigger fix than necessary to pad the cost of the job. I'd highly recommend Weather Guard!"

"Dealing with Mark Rownd and the rest of his crew was great. Not a single problem or concern - something I've come to realize is a rarity with construction jobs today.
I had gotten multiple quotes from a lot of other companies, including many of the top rated Angie's List companies, and noted wide price swings, frequent no-shows for quote appointments, and some very substantial inaccuracies provided by them.
Concrete Work's prices weren't the lowest quote I got, but Mark was honest and up-front and I felt that I could trust him and the company. I wasn't wrong as I'm very pleased with the work that was done and hope to have Mark and Concrete Works back again for more planned projects.
To be completely candid - I never met Mark Rownd or had any dealings with Concrete Works before this project, so this is a true unbiased customer review, but I wouldn't consider using anybody else but them for all of my projects.
I wish all of the construction companies were like these guys - I'd have a lot less gray hair!

Installation was smooth and has been getting good reviews from those who have seen it (including a major sod company who was impressed with the workmanship)."

"They did a good job.  The quality of work was good.  They showed up on time.  They did a pretty quick easy job.  They replaced a board and needed the deck stained.  The guys were really honest and they said they focus more on the construction and they would have been happy to do it and gave me a quote and told me it would probably be cheaper to go with someone else.  I have one board is splitting a bit not sure if I will have to have it replaced or what but other than that it is fine."
