"Our oil burner had stopped working and we had no hot water. We called couple of heating plumbers but none of them responded to make an appointment. We then researched online and found Steve's oil burner service's, who were highly recommend. We called them and Steve came to see us the very next day. On inspection of the oil burner Steve recommend us to replace it with a new one.The existing was over 30 years old and had seen its days.Steve was very professional and knowledgeable. He replaced the oil burner with a new efficient one. The job was well handled and they also made sure to clean up after completing the work. We will definitely be using their services again."

"George came, after hours from a boiler installation. My first floor had no heat but I had a second floor thermostat that was working. He came within the time frame he texted me. He replaced my thermostat with one that was available in his truck and gave me the option to select a preferred one to purchase. He was very professional and considerate. I would give him a 5-star rating."

"I contracted Brooks to evaluate the HVAC systems for a new home purchase. Robert thoroughly explained the issues & options available to remedy the situations. No high pressure, scare tactic, drum up business going on. More akin to talking to a brother in law or cousin trying to assista family member. I chose to use Brooks Heating & Air-conditioning to handle my post purchase HVAC needs with a new mutiroom mini-split system. Robert & his team were very thorough. They howed up on time each time, and very respectful of my new home while working here. I would not hesitate about who to call for future home projects. "

FAQs for heat pump repair or service projects in Albrightsville, PA

Heat pumps move air to cool or warm your home during different seasons. In cold weather, they extract heat from the outdoors and bring it inside to warm your home. In warm weather, they remove heat from your home to keep it cool. This efficient heat transfer increases indoor comfort, improves energy efficiency, and reduces the need for additional heating systems.

Replacing a heat pump costs between $4,200 and $7,900. The actual cost depends on the type of heat pump. Geothermal models are the most expensive to replace, with the price of the unit plus labor ranging between $6,000 and $20,000. Air source models cost between $4,500 and $8,000 to replace, while the replacement costs for a mini split unit run between $1,300 and $8,000.

The average heat pump is designed to last about 14 years, roughly the same as a central air conditioning system (12 to 15 years). Newer models can last 20 years or more. How long your heat pump lasts depends on how frequently you use it and whether you perform routine maintenance like annual tuneups.
