During the time in the attic they discovered the return air was wide open to the attic and boxed it on the attic side so the return air now extracts from the room air side. It was a lot of work to complete in a short time and everyone worked hard to complete it. Thankyou Insulwise for having solutions for this type of house to improve the thermal envelope. "Chris Dallaba and his son Paul, along with the crew did an excellent job of organizing and coordinating the rather extensive work that needed to be undertaken due to siding damage from insects and woodpeckers. They kept us informed of any unexpected additional work. During the three weeks on the job they were punctual in their work schedule, allowing us to schedule our activities accordingly. Because they covered doors and windows prior to working around them, overspray, drips, and spattering was essentially nil. At the conclusion of each workday they left the worksite neat and navigable. Although the cost of the project was expensive, it is reflected in the quality of the work; it was thoroughly and satisfactorily completed. We would engage Sweet Success Contractors for future projects on our house and do not hesitate to highly recommend them to other homeowners."

"I wish I could find more companies where I talk directly with the owner, negotiate the contract with them, navigate scheduling and have them directly come out to perform the job. Andy was the main contact and performer and he believes in quality. He set expectations where they need set, and he did the job where it needed done. If I had to make a complaint, it would be that I wish he performed even more services I needed, because he was so reliable with the work in his scope of performance. Cost was very fair. "I could tell a difference in the air quality as soon as Ryan finished cleaning the air ducts in the house I recently purchased. Before the cleaning there was a distinctive "old house smell". "These guys are not only pros—they are true gutter artisans. After a decidedly frustrating experience with previous roofers, who were at best sloppy but in any case showed no pride in work, working with Ryan Hankey and Always Perfect Contracting has been a breath of fresh air. The work was a challenging replacement of a decayed and rotting box gutter on a circa 1850s historic home on a steep hillside with 36 stairs. There was no way to save the box gutter. Ryan and his team of Jeff and Dino worked long days in high heat and humidity to get the job done in two days. Not only did they replace the gutter, they remediated some of the sloppiness perpetrated by previous roofers at no extra cost. I got three bids on this project, and although Always Perfect Contracting was not the cheapest, the level of craftsmanship more than warranted the price differential. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough—7 stars (out of 5)."

"We hired Guardian to install our security system at our Washington, DC, business. The service and quality of the work was horrible. We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."

"We had holes in our fascia board due to woodpeckers on the front and back of our house. Squirrels moved in and were enjoying life and damaging the wood even more. I contacted Budget Pest control. They scheduled an appointment for the same week. I met Alex. He and I walked around. I pointed out a few other damages (not sure from squirrels or other critters). Alex options to keep them out. I chose their "one way door". A wire box is placed where the animals enter, once they leave, they cannot get back in and they move on. Alex also mentioned our gutters. Our house has a very high, pitched roof. I hire a gutter cleaner each year to clean them out. Alex added a quote to install gutter guards, something I had been thinking about. Also, I asked for repair work to some of those other damaged areas mentioned above. We agreed on the project, pest removal via one way door, gutter guards, and damaged wood repair. I received an estimate in email the same day. Alex came out three times. First time to install the one-way doors and repair a couple holes. Second time with a helper to install the guards on our front and back porches and a third time to remove the one-way doors and complete the final set of gutter guards on our main roof. He is excellent to work with. The wood repair…you cannot tell there were holes in the fascia. Excellent work. The office was great to work with too . I saw our front gutter was bowed out (due to the lack of fascia board on the house, not Alex’s work). They relayed my concern. On Alex's second visit, he adjusted as best he could. The gutter looks better. We will likely need to mount a fascia board and rehang the gutter someday (it is just the way the porch was built). Everything looks great and through a few rains this week, the water is flowing. No more squirrels, no holes in our fascia and you cannot tell we had an issue at all. Great team. Alex is smart and reliable. Glad I chose Budget Pest Control."
