"We have used A-1 since we purchased our home and they have done the yearly inspections. Any noticeable termite activity was always promptly take care of. We recently had them redo the whole house exterior treatment when more termite activity was noticed. The tech that came out to do the inspection and treatment seemed very knowledgeable and was very thorough. Overall we are very happy with the work provided."

"After being told by a number of workers (i.e. electrician and Verizon guy) that it felt really cold under our house, we purchased the Angie's List promotion for an air duct inspection thinking we only needed a few patches. I was able to schedule the inspection for that same week and as it turns out, we needed our entire air duct system replaced. The ducts were damaged and laying on the ground under our house. They'd also (apparently) been invaded by rodents and/or snakes. Fun! The inspector gave a quote right then and there and scheduled the job to start the next day. He said it would most likely take 4 days to complete and we'd be without air conditioning for one day while they sanitized the crawl space. The guys from ADC got started the next morning and in just two short days, we were all set! The workers were polite and professional the entire time they were at our home. They sent pictures of the work when it was fully installed. Overall, we are happy with the speed of the service and their professionalism from start to finish."

"Our is 2.5 storey and steep roof. Owner visited and without getting on roof told me that you need to replace 2 flashings. The house is 9 years old and according to him ( I am not sure) it is better to replace flashing after 10-12 years any way. I think flashing should have same about 30 years life of roof. However, I accepted the recommendation as cost was $150. Also, I don't think they inspected or did anything on other side of the roof. He sent Brian in the following week to carry out work. Brian is really hardworking honest guy. He spent about 4 hours on roof to replace flashing and nail down singhles on one side of roof. I was not happy since they didn't even look at other side of roof. Since my $200 +79 was worth their effort of 4 hours I am OK with the service provided. However, I felt that they are giving this deal to generate more business. and chnging of flushing was not necessary. Anyway I was happy with Brian and hence I am giving A other wise I would have given B."

"The job went VERY well!  David (GID owner and main contractor) gave us a spot-on estimate and super advice about the project.  His ideas on the layout and the window options worked better than our original plans and having his expertise and experience right at the beginning brought a lot of clarity to our planning process.  
Once construction was ready to start, we discovered that we might need special permitting for the overall changes upstairs due to our septic system.  GID was very patient as we worked through health dept. regulations that held up the project for a while.  At all times, Melisa, the office manager/co-owner, kept in touch with us, helping us figure out what we were needed to know about ordering tile and such and keeping us encouraged as we waited for the job to proceed.  They were never impatient as we worked through delays on our end but were right on the spot and ready to go when we finally got all the approvals.  
We hit a second snag upon discovering that the floor joists were not the proper thickness, which meant that in order to install the sewage/water lines, the ceiling in the shower and laundry room directly below the new bathroom had to be lowered by 6".  This involved removing cabinets and lighting, rebuilding a lower ceiling and re-plastering and painting the downstairs area before they could proceed with the construction upstairs.  All of this was done efficiently, quickly and perfectly and only added $500 to the overall project cost, which we thought was outstanding because it was a real pain .  You would never know the downstairs bathroom/laundry room had changed at all - no one we've shown it to could figure out what we were talking about!
We loved every member of the GID crew: Neil, the electrician, did a great job; Steve, the plumber, is amazing; Keith is an absolute tile artist (it is flawless and "makes" the bathroom) and the paint and plaster work matched the existing walls so perfectly that no one has any idea where the change begins.  They were all such nice people - we were very comfortable having them in our home. Even the service at the contractor tile source (ProSource) was outstanding - great advice and great service.
I always wait a few months before reviewing work of this kind in case problems show up after the fact.  GID tweaked any little things we asked and we have not had a single problem  Everything continues to work great.
We have more renovations planned for the future and we're keeping Get It Done Contracting on the speed dial!
