"Given that it is November, I anticipated they would have a long waiting list. Not so. They got back to me very promptly and had an opening in their schedule in a few days. They provided an estimate and the job was scheduled and completed less than a week later. They estimated the attic insulation averaged R18 and suggested adding at least R20. The cost was based on square footage of the house and $1 (or so) per square foot for fiberglass. Note: they said cellulose is a bit cheaper (and maybe a bit better) so if you can go that route, it's probably the better choice."

"Contacted energy attic usa for information on their products and received an abundance of help from two very kind and friendly people- Kent and Amy.  They are a husband and wife team that take great pride in what they do, the american made products that they use, and in customer satisfaction.  I had many questions that related to my existing air conditioning unit and ductwork and Kent was more than happy to answer ALL of my questions!  I had originally planned to be home on the day of the scheduled install, but an emergency came up with one of their employees and so they had to reschedule the work at my house.  I was not happy because I wanted to be at home when the work took place and could not take off from work.  Kent understood and gave me his word that he would stay at my house and oversee the work until everything was completed.   Overall, I was very happy that I used this company and would recommend them to anyone else.  They displayed quality work and to my delight- left all the areas where they had worked clean!  Cynthia

"I have a very tight or low attic ceiling and did not think anyone would be able to reach the bedroom area in the attic. Upon inspection Felix said that he thought they could crawl through a very tight space and reach all area in the attic, and they did.. I wanted to be able to access the attic area above the bedrooms, I had tried several times and could not.  (the existing entry was in the garage) and Felix said they could build an entry in the hallway or bedroom area and frame it out for $75.00. The inspection also revealed no duct on the bath exhaust  fan and the 3 gable screens were in need of repair or replacing, I choose replacing with the heavy duty (we have a lot squirrels) $135.00. I bought the duct for the bath and they installed (No cost.).  My wife and I also choose to upgrade the insulation from the quote R38 to R49 $200.00.
They did a Very  Professional job and the cost was hundreds of dollars lower than all of the other (5) estimates, including the extras.
We are very pleased. Since added the heat doesn't come on as often or stay on as long as before the insulation was added.
