"We had Airlock Insulation blow in insulation into our attic and our bedroom walls spring 2019 when we were replacing our roof. There has been a noticeable difference in the temperature of our home in both the summer and winter. Cooler in the summer with the AC running less and warmer in the winter. An additional bonus is less stinkbugs getting into our house. The borax and new roof both helped in the decrease in stink bugs in our home. Airlock worked in tandem with the roofers to get the job done. Our house has vaulted ceilings throughout and was a difficult task. We would recommend this company to anyone. "Torsten, the owner was great! He diagnosed our problem areas and gave us recommended solutions. He worked within our budget and even broke it up into bite size pieces. This way we were able to make some fixes to our insulation, then if that wasn't good enough, he could keep doing more until our house had a good climate. We may not even need to do the rest of the insulation work (which might run several thousand dollars) because Torsen made such good suggestions on less expensive alternatives ... and then did the work so well.

His son was the actual installer of the spray foam in our basement. He was professional, kind, and highly attentive to details. Absolutely delighted with him.

After the work was done, PK Wadsworth (the heating company that recommended we improve our insulation and recommended Pure Seal) inspected the work of Torsten and his family. They were pleased but found one small area that Torsten missed. It was trivial, but both PK Wadsworth and Pure Seal are perfectionists. So they called Pure Seal back and asked them to add some more insulation under the stairs. Pure Seal came right out, looked at the problem area (and even identified a second small area that they missed ... and I would have never even noticed these small imperfections !)

Torsten fixed everything pronto. It was all done perfectly.

I do not give a great review lightly. But please trust me and hire Pure Seal !!!  Just tell Torsten your budget ... and feed him some cupcakes ... he will try to find the least expensive way to fix your problems. He knows what he is doing ! He is very honest and won't over sell you ! He is also kind, and hard working. His whole company is great !

"I purchased an Angie's List big deal for installation of insulation for our attic.

Sean contacted us the same day as our coupon processed and scheduled an inspection of our attic.  He arrived on time and quickly surveyed our attic.  We set up a date for the installation of the insulation.  His crew arrived on time and quickly set up.  Sean arrived during the job and confirmed that everything was proceeding as promised.  At this time I also asked him if they did soffit vent installation and we quickly agreed on a follow up job to install a soffit vent for the entire house.  

The soffit job required two visits, each time Sean checked with me to ensure the job was performed to our agreement and to make sure I was happy with the work performed.

Both crews cleaned up the job site, were courteous and were prompt with their schedules.  I would not hesitate to use this company again and appreciate the level of communication.  No complaints at all."

"I contacted Mike's Home Improvement for an estimate. Mike Bando, the owner came out and gave me a written estimate on the spot after measuring. He gave many options on the materials available and what each option would cost. He showed samples for the different styles of siding. Since it was wintertime the workers had to wait until the weather cooperated. On days without rain or snow the workers were there first thing in the morning until early evening. They were careful not to leave any of the house exposed during the process. The area was kept clean while the work was being completed. During the installation of the soffits, 2 areas were pointed out that showed roof damage due to a water getting under the shingles. Mike called and quoted how much it would be to repair the roof. I then asked him to give me a quote on replacing all the shingles on the roof. Mike came out the next day and gave me a decent price on the entire roof. A few days later the roofers came out and were able to complete the roof in one day. All work was completed and area was cleaned. The house turned out great and we could not be happier with our "new" house. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike's Home Improvement to anyone looking for exterior work on their house."

"I am very pleased doing business with Zemco. Kim is an excellent coordinator with excellent communication skills. I explained the problem we are having and she immediately scheduled an appointment for Brian to come out and evaluate. She also asked us to take the necessary steps to avoid water damage inside the house until he is onsite. Brian stopped by in an extremely rainy and wet weather to assess the problem on our high roof. He also did a thorough exam inside the house and around the chimney looking for the source of water leaks. He wanted to make sure that we don't have plumbing leaks. He is straight forward to the point, and even complimented the status of the roof, without trying to sell or providing unnecessary services. Came back on a dry but windy day to fix the problem. He wanted to fix before rain moves in again. He was very punctual and explained everything he needed to do. He found lots of rust and cracks/openings on an old chimney-top and around flashings. He took multiple pictures on my phone to show the source of water leaks. He sealed the top of the chimney and re-caulked flashings and the surrounding areas with high quality materials. The price was very reasonable and the work is top quality. I believe that Brian is a hard-working and honest business owner with top notch work ethics. This review also applies to another time I used Zemco to check for damage on rooftop vent pipes. He sealed all vents and flashings to prevent water leaks, and checked/cleaned gutters, and installed new metal water diverters on roof. No leaks whatsoever since. Yes I will call them again and yes I recommend Zemco to others."
