"<p>When the crew arrived, Mike (lead guy) walked through the basement to see what he was dealing with.  Then he told me his plan of attack which involved a lot of prep work.  A lot of this job involves good prep work I learned.  So I turned them loose to do their thing.  After the spraying was complete, these guys cleaned everything up very thoroughly and left my basement in a perfectly neat condition with no overspray to speak of.  We were not allowed to enter the basement for 24 hours.  So the next day I went down to look.  It was terrific.  No smell at all and it looked like this insulation is going to make a huge impact in my comfort level and utility bill (TBD since it's still warm outside).</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Don't believe any of the negative comments on the internet about "spray foam smelling"...........ZERO smell the following day.  And I have a very sensitive nose.  Spray foam gets EVERY nook and cranny and acts as a moisture barrier.  Zero drawbacks, yet it has every advantage over any other kind of insulation.  Insulation Man did a great job and I'm looking forward to the advantages of my spray foam.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"I have multiple chemical sensitivities and was looking for a good insulation that wouldn't offgas and was least likely to cause a reaction. I spoke with Jonathan at Blanket Insulation who was the first person who made me feel "heard." He did a lot of research on his own and even came out twice to quote a few different options. Ultimately, we went with a company that had a vendor-specific insulation that Blanket didn't carry. However, pricing was on par with other quotes we received, and Jonathan was incredibly helpful. (Also, he was getting married--so Jonathan, best wishes for many happy years!!) I would recommend them for traditional insulation."

"The salesman arrived on time to inspect the situation and give an estimate. His presentation included a video of professional equipment being used to dispense spray foam insulation. It looked like it would do the job that I needed done. On the day of installation, two workers arrived on time in an old Chevy Blazer. The equipment they had was essentially the same nozzles and hoses that are part of the home store do-it-yourself kit, but with much larger tanks. There was a problem initially with the tanks being too cold and we had to wait a while for them to warm up. The installers made a good faith effort to do the installation to the best of their ability. They did at least as good a job as I would have done with the home store kit. The job went fairly well and I got the result that I was looking for, although I think I paid a lot more for it than I needed to."

"After several quotes for insulating my home, I went with Arctic Insulation. Their quote was very competitive and provided for the exact services I wanted. Chis and Kevin were very accommodating and professional in their conduct. In fact, Chris spent a lot of time with me explaining what he was doing and answered all the questions I asked. He made sure that I was satisfied and even went a little bit beyond by doing a couple of extras that he uncovered while installing the insulation. Even then he held to his original quote that he provided during his visit for a free estimate. Chis was extremely respectful of my house and cleaned up old insulation and extra materials before they left.
