"We had a great experience with Discount Energy Services. They insulated our entire attic and crawl space, and from start to finish they were professional, responsive, and easy to work with. The turnaround time was impressively quick, the quality of the work was excellent, and we felt the value was very good for the scope of the project. The team was efficient, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in doing the job well. We really appreciated how smoothly the whole process went and would gladly recommend Discount Energy Services to anyone looking for high-quality insulation work."

"Great! Job was complete .... removal of existing 50+ year old insulation, air sealing attic, baffle installation, installed 18 inches new fiberglass blown insulation, and new whole-house fan. Job started and completed as proposed. Crew on-time, quietly performed their work, and left spaces clean when done. Definitely worth the cost as noticeable improvement in second floor temperature and humidity readings."
Owens Corning ProPink R-49 Blown-In Insulation. Our most popular product
These vents help your attic circulate air. With attics reaching over 120 degrees in the summer these are very important. They prevent mold and increase the lifetime of your insulation. Most other contractors miss installing these.
Look at the difference! Our foam is fire-rated which allows us to air seal around penetrations that contractors never could before.
Most homes have penetrations all over there attic. Imagine trying to blow up a balloon with a bunch of holes. It will never fill up. Now imagine trying to blow up your house with air conditioning and heating with a bunch of holes in the attic. It will never fill up.
Recessed can lights are notorious for leaking air. Recessed can light covers help with air-sealing your living space and prevent fires.

"In January of this year, I had another company come and take out the old insulation and install the blown-in insulation. However, they botched up the job and we found ourselves constantly vacuuming the insulation that was coming down through all the recess lights. They hadn’t bothered to seal them correctly. They also created so much mess removing the old insulation; so we had to move to the basement while cleaning up the main floor from the messy job they did. That’s when Dan was called in to remove the blown in kind and install the blue jeans insulation. Dan suggested the blue jeans batts, knowing my chemical sensitivity. I hadn’t known such insulation existed and am grateful he did to minimize exposure to chemical. I was very impressed from the moment I saw the crew wearing a suit that was clearly designed to protect them. Dan’s crew discovered that the other insulation company had not properly removed all the old insulation company, and Dan could have charged me more for the extra removal work, but he stuck with the quoted price and did an amazing job. He made sure I would not be affected by the removal of the old blown-in insulation(have asthma). This time no dust was created while removing the blown-in insulation. I can’t say enough about Dan and his crew. I am so grateful to him and his crew. Dan is honest, professional, empathetic, and is meticulous about getting job done right. I would most highly recommend him to anyone for any type of insulation work."

"Same-day estimate was provided by Jay who happened to be in the area the day I called. He went through what they typically install and the amount of insulation recommended for the area and provided a written estimate. Installation was performed on the scheduled data, installers arrived within the time window specified. In fact, they arrived about 15 minutes from the start of the time window (about 10:15am) and apologized for being a bit late because they blew a tire on the way there (had to have a repair truck come while they were working)! Installers were very professional and courteous. Installation took only about 1 hour and they did a very good job of keeping the area clean. There was some vacuuming that was needed afterwords, but much less than I expected given how much mess insulation has been for me in the past. I would definitely recommend and use Carroll Insulation again."

"My life was "****" before Wall to Wall was hired to clean up a mess from a previous contractor on our family home. After receiving a Stop Work Order from the city, I had to find a general contractor immediately. I researched and communicated with several companies on Angie's List, and Wall to Wall was the one company that understood my issues and showed the interest to help me resolve them. They were not pushy or overbearing. They listened to me as I told them what I needed to happen and when. The other factor in this scenario is all transactions occurred long distance. Angel Tuesta was patient, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable; we had long and frequent conversations by phone. We talked about what needed to occur in stages. When we began the work on the addition (which prompted the SWO), his team was professional; they knew their job. The workmen were respectful of my property; work materials were organized and the property was kept as clean as possible. I received videos as the work progressed. They communicated with city inspectors and all work passed the multiple inspections (Halleluiah!!). As the work on the addition neared the end, I hired them to complete the work on remodeling the kitchen and main bath. I also had them remove decades old carpeting in the house and replace with beautiful hard wood floors, remove old wall paneling and strip and paint several rooms. The bathroom was enlarged, a bedroom was reconfigured, other bedrooms were painted with new flooring. When I visited the property, the kitchen and bath were totally transformed from an old 1950s look to contemporary styling; the bedrooms were bright. The high grade quality products (cabinets, granite countertops, flooring) installed by Wall to Wall were impeccable. One of the factors that impressed me so much with Wall to Wall is whatever needed to be done - electrical, plumbing, iron work,- Angel has the workmen to do the job in a timely manner. I never had to worry about having to find a workman to do anything special. Wall to Wall could handle my requests. We were able to accomplish all of this work a little less than one year. As I have repeatedly stated to Angel, I expect we will have a long relationship. I have other projects that are planned for the future (new patio, additional floor work, remodel basement). I will continue to work with the company because they are professional, reliable, produce quality work at a price that reflects the quality received. From my perspective, they do not deserve a grade of "A", they deserve a grade of "A+++" in all areas. Gracias, Angel !!"

"Excellent. Luke was the Energy Auditor assigned to my home. He was very knowledgeable about building science, the interconnection of various systems in the home (e.g., ventilation, plumbing, indoor air quality), the cause-and-effect interactions of these systems on one another, and the impact of indoor air quality on human health. For example, most of 2019, I had unseen mold issues most of 2019 which negatively impacted my health. This was a result of poor construction on a remodeled home I purchased in November 2018. After much trial-and-error, my own research, x-rays, an MRI, and 7 various contractors, I had mold remediation by another company completed in October 2019. This involved partially exposing the flat roof attic joists and fiberglass insulation that was installed in January 2019. Luke visited my home on October 16, 2019, for a comprehensive energy audit. During his visit, he noted that the exposed fiberglass insulation was improperly installed and could potentially lead to moisture and mold issues down the line. Although the resolution would basically involve tearing down the ceiling, removing the insulation, and installing a new ceiling, I am confident in the advice Luke provided because it coincided with independent research I'd conducted on building science, energy efficiency, and green homes. Home Energy Medics was one of the few companies I've contacted that understand the home is many interrelated systems, is able to articulate this, and has the tools and technology to support their recommendations and observations."

"We had Energy Efficiency Experts do an energy audit on our town home in DC. Pascale was friendly, professional, and her audit report provided a thorough description of steps we could take to improve both the efficiency and comfort of our home. The audit fee was lower than the competition as I recall. We haven't yet moved forward with doing the recommend insulation/air sealing, but he price quoted for the work seemed totally reasonable to me. If / when we finally get around to following Pascale's advice, we'll almost certainly hire her to do the work."

"We had a wonderful experience with this company. We live in a 1920’s rowhouse in NW DC with a very drafty first floor. The crawlspace had old batts and we were looking for an upgrade with foam insulation. The team that completed our project was professional, timely, clean, and very wonderful to work with. They removed the old insulation and disposed of it prior to spraying the new insulation. It’s been about a week since the project is complete, with a very chilly and windy week in DC, and we could not be happier with the results! The draft is gone, the heat is running significantly less, the house is warm, and the temperature between the first and second floor has been regulated. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a warm and cozy house!"
