"We were very pleased with the work that the crew from Insulate 2 Save did for us. The three workers that came were very professional and knowledgeable. They were friendly to both my wife and I as well as our 11 year old son, throughout the many times they had to walk through our house. It was very hot the two days they were here. They spent much of the time either in the sun or up in one of the attics or eaves covered with sawdust or insulation, however, they remained good spirited the entire time. They ran into a few roadblocks along the way as our upstairs bathroom was piped somewhat strangely from the norm, by a former homeowner. They were able to solve all the problems with the best interests of our house in mind. To us, this showed a level of knowledge and experience that is very important as we are not as educated in these areas and were able to learn a lot of information. I would not only recommend Insulate 2 Save to others, but I would also recommend the three employees that came to our house. I would also choose them again myself if I needed more work done in the future."

"I'll admit to being a bit worried/scared and hesitant to go forward with spray foam. It's a good deal more expensive than traditional insulation, and I've heard a couple of horror stories about things going wrong. I also have a pretty old house with a lot of obstacles/difficulties in getting the roof decks insulated. Needless to say, paying a higher premium for something you end up dissatisfied with would feel pretty terrible. <br /> But, I have to say, I have 0 regrets and everything turned out better than I originally could have even hoped. The guys at Ecologic did a fantastic job. Every crack/crevice is sealed throughout the walls and roofing, they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves, there was no lingering smell whatsoever, and it looks amazing. The difference it makes is immediately noticeable; the heating on the floor was much more stable, even, and the furnace was running much less often. I couldn't believe how big of a difference it made. Just the sound proofing from the outside (another great benefit) demonstrates how big of a difference the spray foam makes. <br /> And Ecologic was a great company for this project. Not only was the quality of work fantastic, but they were very responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Highly recommend.  <br />"

"The crew arrived as scheduled. They were friendly and clearly stated how the work would be performed and what to expect. Drop clothes were used where needed. The crew worked steadily and they invited me to look at the work done in the attic. A RISE rep came by to check on the progress late in the day and said he was impressed with what he saw. <br /> We couldn't have been more pleased. The free RISE home inspection is a tremendous opportunity to improve your home. Rise picks-up much of the cost for improving the energy efficiency of the house.   <br /> We were very happy with the work done by New England Insulation. Based on our experience, their excellent reputation on Angie's List is well deserved. <br />    <br /> <br /> <br />"

"My heat Bill has dropped drastically. The quality of the work done was excellent. Ran into one issue with something extra they did for me but the owner Joe quickly got it fixed for me. Very honest and responsive. Quick clean install. I would highly reccomend them. Use the energy credits if you can it saved me the cost of the entire install."

"We had our free Rise energy audit done this past summer and it went well. They went through the entire house replacing light bulbs and checking to see if our home was "leaky." Our home is a 1950's ranch with no insulation in walls or attic. They recommend we spray insulation in the attic and walls to lower utility costs. We agreed and Rise had Retrofit Insulation do the job. Everything seemed to go well when they did the attic. Installers were professional and clean. However, the next day was a complete mess. They sprayed the insulation into the walls before checking to see if we had any open holes or cracks. They did ask me if the walls were strong and I told them they were plaster and that I wasn't sure. They finished the job and went on there way. Later in the evening I open my sink cabinet only to get hit with a face full of raw insulation. The cabinet was covered with it. I called the project inspector and they came to clean it up. However, we found more insulation in the bathroom fan and in the baseboard heaters. I'm worried to turn on the heat this winter. Our homes air quality is terrible now and I really think they should have educated the us the homeowners better on the side effects of this insulation. We also don't know what's in our walls. The contract says it's blown cellulose but the company's website says it rock wool. Which one is it? On top of that multiple sites are now saying that if your home has plaster walls you should never blow in insulation in them. Apparently they can absorb moisture from inside the home and cause mold, insects and dry rot. I wish I never agreed to this insulation. Now I just wasted money to ruin my home and it will cost more money to remove it. Get the energy audit but stop there and do your research before you agree to do any work with them. Wish I did."

"We were going to re-tile the bathroom floor, but Noah suggested a alternative to save us money. We used Traffic Master floating floor. He did a superb job and his attention to detail was exemplary. This is our second project with Noah and have no hesitation recommending him for any household projects you require."

"After interviewing several plastering companies, I was given some grim reports about the extensive work needed on my walls. A lot of the plasterers seemed unsure about the work, or at least did not make me feel confident that they were qualified to provide me with flawless walls and ceilings. Just to give a little back ground, I have built 3 other homes before purchasing a 1950' ranch. the second home that I built the plaster work was OK, but not great. The 3rd home that I built the plastering work was amazing. It was so good that my painter praised the plasterer because it made his job that much easier. So when it was time to plaster the wall in my current home, I called the guy who had done the work on my second home (which was also the owner) and unfortunately he was involved in an automobile accident and was not able to do the work. So I was very hesitant to bring someone else in. My expectation, work quality was going to be measured to my previous experience.( so I was concerned) So I interviewed several plastering companies and expressed my concerns relating to the quality of service that I expected. Joe was very responsive when I called, he worked around my schedule to come out and tour the house, He was very confident, professional and made me feel at ease ( mind you I've already met with 3 other companies prior to meeting Joe) both my wife and I knew right away t who we wanted going to go with.(AJ Plaster) one of the issues that I typical encounter when dealing with contractors is their scope of work. most of the time they are not detailed to the scope of work only to later on bicker about what was and what wasn't included in the price. (not with Joe) Joe's proposal was very clear and detailed, he outlined each item and was very specific to the scope.( even though I felt at the end he did more than what was on the scope) The scope covered some 1900 square feet of ceiling and walls. Again this is a very old house and the walls and ceilings were not square, leveled or plumb. in addition there were some areas that needed patch work.(badly) He not only plastered but he also saved me a ton of time and trouble by offering to sheet rock some of the unfinished walls and ceiling that I had not yet have gotten to do. ( not for free) But when he quoted the work it was about the same cost that I was paying for materials and my labor and time was more valuable. (It freed me up to do other things that needed to be done prior to plastering) I was pressed in getting the kitchen cabinets in and the walls and ceilings needed to be plastered before the cabinets arrived. I called Joe and explained to him my situation. ( although Joe was not scheduled for another two weeks to start on my house. He moved his schedule around and was able to bail me out. He said that he was going to start at 7:15 AM. and he showed up on time with his crew every single day until the project was completed ( total of 5 days) Now what about the quality of work ? I did not expect the quality to be the same as my previous plasterer. reason being I couldn't see how it could be any better. WOW was I wrong. Joe brought it up one extra notch. the walls and ceilings looked like glass, they looked so good I didn't feel like they needed painting.. If you are looking for a plasterer. Joe is the real deal.. PS I don't endorse or write reviews, I believe if I pay for a service, I should get what I pay for. However this guy is the real deal, professional and A-1 quality .. THANKS JOE AND YOUR TEAM"
