"The workers were an hour late but called to let me know. When they got here, they got right to work and completed the work within an hour and a half. They were professional, courteous, and left my house looking like they had never been here. Eric K came out to estimate the job and fully explained the work they would perform. All in all, I would definitely recommend Aladdin for blown in insulation."

"We worked with the Bird company on 2 different projects and in both case it was perfect. We asked for estimates to different companies but Bob Bird was by far the most knowledgable and the most professional of the 3 or 4 companies we met. He was the only one who actually spent the time to go all the way in the attics, took pictures and really took the time to explain the issues and the solutions available to us. This was clearly not a sales pitch but a discussion with a professional who was working with us to get the best result. He gave us different solutions to perform the job and we decided to go with the foam insulation which has been given us a great result and made the house very comfortable. <br /> The team that performed the job included one of his son and they were all very courteous, professional and clean-up after the job was performed. <br /> This is a great company to work with and Bob Bird is always very responsive and he made sure that we were happy with the work. <br />"

"<p>I can't recommend Josh (the owner) and Exterior Armor more highly. I got four estimates for a new roof, and Josh was the first to respond and provide an estimate. I chose his company based on his willingness to provide me with the roof I really wanted and to work within my budget. Josh is straightforward, outgoing, and enthusiastic about his work. He'll even tell you, "I love roofs." Josh is onsite throughout the process, working along with his crew. He even cleaned my gutters personally. That kind of personal attention from an owner and attention to detail is rare from any contractor. I was impressed by his promptness, honesty, flexibility, and work ethic. Also, Josh stayed in touch with me by phone, text, and email throughout the process. He is very responsive and always on time. After installation, Josh walked the perimeter of my house with me to make sure all debris was removed (we didn't find any). He really cares about the quality of his work and the reputation of his business. The whole process of working with Josh was efficient and pleasant from beginning to end. Oh, and my roof and gutters look fantastic!!</p> <br />"

"Coldest night of the season, I turned on the heat and got nothing. Called the 24 hour number and was walked through some basic troubleshooting. Once it was determined that a tech would need to come out, I was told that someone would contact me between 8 and 9 the next morning. At 8:01 I got a call from the help desk and an appointment was made for the same day between 12 Noon and 6 PM. I was also told that when the tech was about an hour out he would give me a call. Technician Jeff ran some basic checks and changed out a capacitor. The tech that came out also checked the condition of my ducts and re-hung and re-taped some shoddy installation work."

"The only company I will ever call for heating and air service. We had to replace our downstairs heating and air. Cool Masters was priced fairly. Everyone we dealt with was professional. They did an awesome job with the replacement. Offered several options at different prices. I cannot say enough good about Cool Masters."

"Epie's has done work for me at my home and at a rental property several times: replacing a crawlspace door, installing bathroom fans and other miscellaneous tasks. They are on time or call to let you know if they have been delayed. They are quick, clean and have always gotten the job done right the first time. The thing I like about them best is that if they leave a message, they give you actionable information- no endless phone tag. <br />"

"Arnie, the owner, started off by making a good impression in the proposal phase of the project. I contacted several contractors, but Arnie was the only one to give the impression that he dropped what he was doing by coming out immediately. He spent significant time talking through all aspects of the job, answering questions in detail and when leaving, providing a price estimate. The initial estimate was middle of the pack of proposal. Siding unlimited came down some to the point where the quality/price comparison flipped in their favor. The job was estimated to take 8 days - 4 days on siding, 4 days on the paint job. In actuality, the work was completed in 5 and a half days. The crews for siding and painting are strictly separated, as each is specialized in their field. The leads for both aspects came out at the beginning of the job and talked through the entire event. These leads functioned as the operational point of contacts. They left their cell phone numbers, were available at any time during the project and made sure the job progressed swiftly. The quality of the siding installation is outstanding. I have made comparisons with several siding installations in the area and Siding Unlimited's work stands out. The siding is installed very tightly, with minimal gaps between boards. We had some discussion as to whether the siding should be installed without caulking in between the boards, per a directive from James Hardie (specifically focused on pre-painted siding), but I decided to go with the traditional (caulked) method, after looking at houses of some of the references Arnie provided. I also asked the siding crew to bury as many of the tag-on wires on my house underneath the siding. They took good care of this and buried several Directv cables, phone cables and cables for outside speakers. The result is a very clean look (while all connections still work). The paint crew followed the siding crew with around a 1 day time gap, so prep work and caulking was performed while the siding installation was being completed, without the risk of significant dust settling on the caulk. As a result, the paint did not take much more than 2 days after the moment that the siding installation was completed. The paint crew was very professional. When I expressed concerns on the solidity of the paint on some of my sunny side facing sills, the company threw in 2 additional sill replacements without charging me for it. Overall, the house looks stunning and we are very happy with the results."

"I was truly excited about this job. They were the 10th estimate I'd received. During the sales and consultation, they were punctual, thorough, and honest. They advertise they provide a lifetime warranty on workmanship. This was the easiest purchase of a product ever. They advertise what stress free remodeling looks like. This was the most stressful work I've ever had done on my home. Two company signs were installed in my yard. One sign was the company sign. The other sign was a set of rules for their employees. Some of the rules were no loud music, no smoking, no eating, no swearing, and be respectful. Windows and sliding door Installation The beginning of the installation was problematic. The cedar wood around the windows was supposed to be removed, windows installed, and cedar wood re-installed except where rotted. No one told the window installers this information. One window was ordered incorrectly but that was rectified as soon as possible. The window installers could speak English. Garage Door Installation The garage door installer couldn't speak English. The siding was supposed to be completed prior to the garage door install and since it wasn't the garage door installer wasn't going to do it. I called the Project manager and he got him to install the garage door. The door broke that day or the very next day and it wouldn't close leaving my home exposed. I had to contact the Project Manager. I did think it was pretty darn cool that he left the comforts of his home immediately and got the garage door to close. The garage door company returned to fix it so it would close properly all the time. Siding Installation; This was the worst job ever. The first siding crew didn't speak English. The left their lunch trash on the ground - instead of putting it in the dumpster. They left cigarette butts on the ground. This helped me understand the sign and their violation of the company rules. They blew the power twice and broke the outside electrical outlet. They also broke an outside light. Their power tools were spliced with an orange electrical cord to the power plug installed on the electrical tool. I guess they didn't want to plug their tool into the extension cord all the time so they spliced them together. I had some wood rot that needed to be replaced before the siding was installed. The replacement wood was in the contract that I was charged for. The siding guys were not going to replace it until I notified the Project Manager it was in the contract. The first siding crew installed the siding in such a horrible fashion that it look liked I did it myself. There were a lot of buckles in the siding and there were significant wrinkles in the capping. The Project Manager's boss had the nerve to tell me it was because my home was buckled, which it was not. They also wasted a lot of material that I paid for. For example, if 6' of siding was needed from the 12' piece of siding, this crew would not cut from the very end and have the remaining 6' to use. This crew would cut in the middle. The project manager even dug some useful material out of the dumpster. I waited for almost 2 weeks for the electrical outlet outside to get fixed and after it wasn't fixed, I called an Electrician that fixed it. I requested a different crew because it was just way too much stress and they were not respecting my home. The second siding crew immediately recognized what the issues were, fixed those as best they could, and completed the remainder of the siding installation. There are still some buckles in the siding. of course I was provided an unsatisfactory answer regarding the buckles that are visible as one drives by. The Project Manager's boss said the buckles were because my home was buckled before they started. I was actually offended by that response. My home wasn't buckled before and even if it was, I guess the crew wasn't professional enough to compensate for it. For every defect I point out, the excuse was "your home is defective". I would give the purchasing of a product an A+. I give the windows installation an A+. I give the garage door installation an F. The first siding crew has an F. The second siding crew has an A+. These things together on average, in my estimation, is an overall C- or D+. I give a C since there is no C- or D+. I'm glad the project is over. It started on March 14, 2017 and ended on May 2, 2017. I'm not sure if I would hire this company again, so I put no. This was such a nightmare, I'm not even sure if they will honor the lifetime warranty on workmanship."
