"Tech came out. Went through from obvious faults and worked way up. Ended up getting drain line flushed and then replacing the blower motor. Now AC is going better then ever. Took much longer then anticipated but only because they were trying every cause and effect. Even had owner come out and eventually found the right combo to fix. Was not charged for visit itself or diagnostic time, which was expected but still nice to have to haggle about at end of it all. "Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"Excellent experience in every way. The tech was at my home within a half-hour of the appointment time. He was clean, courteous, and thorough in his evaluation and in his explanation to me about what happened. He also showed me how I can clear the pipe myself should it back up again to save me the cost of another house visit.
When this drain had clogged before, another company had cleared the pipe for almost $200 and tried to scare me into buying their semi-annual tune-up package because, as their tech said, and quot;this will definitely happen again.and quot; Hurm cleared the pipe for less than $100 and, when I asked if they had a semi-annual service I could buy, the tech said, and quot;you don't need to waste your money. Your system is in excellent condition. Just call us for an annual check-up each spring and you'll be fine.and quot;

"We're a couple living in a multi-unit condo building and identified possible issues with mold in the air ducts. Our landlord called Best Choice to assess and remedy the situation. Eric and Matt came out and identified what was going on, investigated the likely causes, provided a range of options, and executed exactly what they said they would do. They wound up cleaning the ducts with a sanitizing gas and installing a UV light at the AC intake to prevent future outbreaks. They were always professional, punctual, and all-around considerate. They were clear about environmental factors such as noise and scent, so we knew what to expect at every step. They were very conscientious of the current COVID situation, and, upon request, were always wearing a mask and distancing themselves as best as possible. Before leaving, they provided a clear outlook for what to expect as the dead mold spores exited the ducts. Best Choice came out on 08 June; it's currently 13 June, and exactly what Eric and Matt told us to expect is exactly what happened. They were also explicit on how to safely handle the UV light. The UV light hardware---for which Eric provided a range of options and our landlord went with an upper-end one---was a large percentage of the cost. Otherwise, Best Choice charged on a per-vent basis; we have six vents and one AC intake. Concerning price negotiation and communications to arrange appointments, we cannot comment directly, as we're renting, and the landlord did these things. However, based on how the actual service went for us, we have no concerns if we ever need to contact them directly. If we ever own in Central Florida and have issues with mold or air ducts, we're going with these guys!"

"When 3 other companies looked at my AC unit they told me it needs to be replaced. The cost of repairing it would be just about the same because my unit uses R22 freon AC tech's refer to it as liquid gold. Mike came out and said it's getting close to needing replacement but not today with a simple fix. Why use Mike Harper AC: Mike is not an hourly employee he is the owner he does the inspection and the work.
