"We could not have asked for better service. I use Basset for all of my heating and air conditioning needs for a number of properties in addition to my personal home. They are my "go to" folks and I would not think of using anyone else. If you want someone who does business the old fashion way, i.e., providing exceptional service at a fair price to build an enduring business, Basset Heating and Air Conditioning are the best. I give them my highest personal recommendation!"

"☆☆☆☆☆ dream team COMPANY! I had most contact with Julian throughout the job, but his partner and Electrician were JUST AS NICE. They had cloths on my floors, as they were in and out of my crawl space. They even left to get a particular component, specific for my install. No damage to home. There was no laughing or joking around. They were concentrated on install, measuring, calculating out loud between the three of them. No cussing or profanity, either. Julian was professional and explained everything to me, including why manual was left on unit, so when inspector came, it was there, as it couldn't be signed off without it. Thermostat looks great! He also knew a lot about furnaces, which is my next thing. *Beware of companies won't give you prices on ANYTHING and/or charge you estimate to come to your house... Another reason I picked PEAK HOME was their receptionists! Sweetest, most understanding ladies! If you need to install A/C, go with this company - definitely recommend!"

"Excellent same day service! The technician, Santiago was terrific! The swamp cooler now works great! Thank you!"

"We were notified by text and e mail of our appointment, who was coming over. The unit was inspected and was given the option to repair or replace. We elected repair, the tech arrived on time, very pleasant to talk with, and the work was completed in a couple of hours. We will recommend Comfort by Design to all our friends and neighbors."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Freezer was given to us by my mother who bought it new in 1993. When we plugged it in it wouldn’t get cold. I Was expecting a large delivery of beef so time was critical. Paul was very responsive and arranged in short notice to have an experienced technician, Jesus, come do the repair, even located replacement parts which based on age was a challenge. Very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend."

"Responsiveness to the furnace issue was great -- next day service. Technician identified the problem immediately and repair completed within an hour. Furnance has worked fine ever since the fix."

"They arrived on time, and quickly solved and repaired both problems within 30 minutes. As jobs go, this one was very easy, but Justin (I think that was his name) made sure to FIX what was wrong, instead of telling me I had to have a more expensive service. We lucked out on this one, seeing as the house was built in 1984, it could very possibly have been needing a rewiring, or replacing the housing unit for the outside socket that was not working. A very efficient and friendly team!!! I loved their professionalism, and quality of work."

"Jeff brought my swamp cooler back from near-death a couple of years ago and since then has been my goto guy for maintenance. My swamp cooler is the most functional one in the neighborhood albeit the ugliest, until this fall when his crew scraped off the calcium carbonate build-up and painted it. Now it not only works like new, but looks like it as well. Best customer service anywhere! Thanks guys!!!"

"The plumber (who was very friendly and professional) arrived ahead of schedule.  He came up and looked at the toilet and flushed it.  I told him I had already plunged the toilet and used a 3 foot toilet auger to try to clear any obstruction, but that hadn't fixed the problem.  He went out and got like a 12 ft toilet auger, came up and ran it down the toilet.  It knocked out the obstruction, and it worked fine after that.  The service went fine and was quick.  The fact that the entire job only took the plumber 20 mins from start to finish and he charged me $150 flat service fee (I paid $130 after a military discount) seemed a bit excessive to me.  I realize they are running a business and don't have constant work, but if the going rate for a plumber is $520 /hr then I should probably reconsider my career choices.  In the future I would shop around to see if there is a more reasonable price for a simple plumbing service.
Summary:  No issues at all with service, punctuality, or professionalism, however I thought the service was overpriced for the amount of time and effort required.
