"They filled my attic with insulation. I was amazed at the temperature difference after they were done. I had them schedules to blow insulation into my walls. They came out and started the job, only to find that I already had insulation in my walls. They were honest, and didn't even charge me for the little bit of work that they did perform. I paid them, and was very happy with the job they did. A few days later the owner comes to my door, and says that I had been over charged for the service due to rebate with the gas company. He gave me a check. I can not say enough good things about there honesty and integrity. The main guy I dealt with during the job was Corey. "We built a large detached garage recently and needed it insulated. This was complicated as the garage included a Gambrell type roof with closets and and bookcases built into the roof.  As the electrical work came in way over budget,  I had to reject two insulation quotes, one from AIT and another, and do most of the work myself.  Mark called to check on me and I explained that I was having trouble with a rear stairwell and the kneewalls upstairs.  He offered to complete my work for $500 which was a deal.  The young man who performed the work was industrious and did a good job. My only criticism was that both Mark and the young man who did the work asked me what I "wanted" a few times instead of telling me what was advisable professionally.  But as a whole, good job. <br />"

"I made and appointment with Chuck to get an estimate and he arrived on time and provided a quote.  We scheduled the work to be performed about a week later and he arrived promptly as scheduled.  Chuck and his crew did a nice job installing the flooring and cleaned up after themselves when finished.  The charges were exactly as quoted.  I would definitely recommend Chuck's Handyman & Insulation Services. <br />"

"Our upstairs was ALWAYS too hot or too cold. The main heat pump downstairs didn't provide enough heat or AC to the upstairs. We had several companies try to sell us a new or larger  heat pump to replace the one we had. They were too insistent on the sale and couldn't explain how that was going to increase the air flow to the upstairs. Jim from A-abel explained why we weren't getting air flow to the upstairs  and why just replacing the existing unit wouldn't help because of the design of the house. He did a very detailed examination of each room on the second floor and calculated exactly what size unit was needed and how many vents were needed in each room. The new heat pump was installed in the attic, the old duct work running in the attic (from the downstairs heat pump) was removed and new (better) duct work was run. All of the work was done properly and very neatly. All duct work and electric in the attic was properly secured and done neatly. The technicians were here for a week and were both very knowledgeable and very professional. They were concerned with our comfort and cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day. The new system works beautifully and we now have an even temperature on both floors. Because the downstairs unit runs less, adding a second unit did not increase our power bill. When we need to replace the downstairs heat pump we can put in a smaller unit since it is only for one floor and it will be even more energy efficient. We will definitely be calling A-Abel for all of our heating and AC needs! <br />"
