"After the repair was done I noticed a leak in my bathroom ceiling where one of the roof vents were replaced. I called the Subcontractor Brian on a Saturday morning. The weather was cold and raining. He was at my house within the hour up on the roof and fixed the leak. I havent had any leaks since. I would hire Brain the Subcontractor again."

"We engaged Clean Hands Painting to paint the exterior of our house in the summer of 2018. I was immediately impressed by Junior at our first meeting. He showed great attention to detail and gave us a very fair estimate. Junior and his co-worker, Ephraim, were meticulous and cleaned up after themselves at each step along the way. They were the cleanest painters we have ever had work on our house. They pressure cleaned the house, repainted the wood, the metal railing, outdoor shutters and the front door. They also cleaned and stained the deck, which required replacing several of the boards that had rotted away. They carefully sanded the areas around the windows and repainted them. Additionally, they worked around our schedule, which was a huge help for us. They were responsive to all our calls and texts. The quality of all of the work was outstanding and I would not hesitate to hire them again for any outdoor or indoor project."

"Great! Lane's Contracting kept me informed of any changes on my schedule date, they also let me know prior to my materials arriving. Was able to have the roof removed and installed in 1.5 days! Awesome work! Also, had a window installed and Gerardo was excellent to work with . I would definitely refer all of my friends and family to Lane's Contracting for any roofing, siding or window projects!"

"Amazing system! Did a lot of research on alarm systems....so glad I went with 1st security! They came to my house and explained everything to me, were not pushy at all. Came and installed the system a few days later....took the time to explain everything to me and did an amazing job with the installation. And the price is excellent, both the installation fee and the month to month. So happy with my decision."

"My wife and I purchased our home (ranch 1495 sq', built in 1958) and realized it needed a lot of foundation work due to years of moisture damage. This included replacement of the main girder, 41 joists, and mold remediation. While we were at it, we let Triangle Reconstruction guide us through why encapsulation is the preferred method for eliminating our crawlspace moisture issues. So let's break down the score: Overall = A - This will be explained as I go through the other metrics Price = B - Triangle Reconstruction was competitive. They were not the cheapest, and no where close to being the most expensive. This was a $30,000 job. It was one I have never done, and hope to never do again. One of their workers even took me on a tour of the crawlspace explaining the foundation repair, the French drains, the sump pump. I was able to see how much work they did, and because of that, I felt I found a company that priced things fairly. Quality = A Work was done as expected in a reasonable amount of time. The job was permitted and the town inspector passed the project without issue. The inspector mentioned that his house is encapsulated and the work, both the foundation and encapsulation were done well. There were some minor items that I noticed, and Triangle Reconstruction was able to come back onsite an address. They worked with our schedule and completed everything to our satisfaction. Responsiveness/Communication = A The great thing is that for our project there were two people looking working with us, Drew and Rob. When we had a question and needed an immediate or quick response, it is best to pick up the phone. My wife and I were able to reach Drew or Rob without issue. We worked with Drew early on, he was our first point of contact, so we never felt uncomfortable picking up the phone an calling him. He insisted we call him with any questions. Once we met Rob, that same level of comfort was established. I mostly emailed with Rob (it was a little slower i.e. not immediate response, but more than acceptable. However, getting him on the phone was never an issue. I add that our culture's expectation to texts and emails is immediate, and those expectations should be tempered. It is important to understand that Triangle Reconstruction provides numerous avenues to contact them, and my wife and I never had an issue. So they respond to emails, to phone calls, and their crew shows up and works when they are scheduled. Scheduling with Triangle Reconstruction was relatively easy and they worked with us, and we with them. Punctuality = A They arrived in the morning, at a reasonable time (not too early), and were usually working when we got home. They did not work too late, which was comforting as I like to settle down after a day of work. I found this showed respect for our time and our home life. This was not the stereotypical experience of a contractor working like a college student goes to class. They were efficient and ultimately effective. Professionalism = A Drew - very knowledgeable, willing to follow-up and check in Rob - very knowledgeable as well, understanding, willing to take the time to come onsite and answer questions, address concerns. I felt like they were both available and genuinely cared. The crew - super nice, and respectful. I think it went well. I am skeptical of contractors, mechanics, anyone that can easily get over on me. It is important to be an informed consumer. It is important to ask questions of your contractor, and be involved in the process. Triangle Reconstruction allows this. I would hire again with hesitation. I am currently monitoring our crawlspace with humidity sensors and Rob is helping us tweak the settings as we wrap up the project. I think Rob, Drew and crew have a good thing going, and I wish them best. Update 9/19/2017 - I use AcuRite humidity sensors and noticed I had an area that was a little high, slightly above 60%. Triangle Reconstruction came back onsite, repositioned the dehumidifier and now things have improved. Rob had no issue making sure the appropriate humidity level was maintained and consistent throughout our crawlspace."

This is an update on my prior review below regarding the concerned issues that I had.  Having no choice but to write the first review, apparently helped him to understand my position and hopefully made him realize the importance of good customer service.  Being said, Gregory responded on my review that he was willing to come back out and resolve things.  I was happy to email him to work out a convenient time to come back and try to make things right.  I'm happy to say that his cooperation was great and the job looks so much better.  I can now post the nice job that he did and would recommend his services.  Thank you again, Gregory, for coming back two more times to make things more functional and a nice appearance.

Due to the tile walls being a little off, as far as alignment, this caused some issues with the glass door not fitting properly.  The gaps on each side were too wide and wasn't straight at the top of the door.  They came back and tried to re-align things.  I looked at the door and things were much better, but the door would not stay open when you would swing it inside the shower or outside the shower.  He said this was the best he could do, so I told him I didn't like that, but agreed to finish paying the balance on the bill.  I felt like the whole enclosure needed to be revamped or something to make it right.  As I began to clean up things in the master bath, I was wiping down the shower and glass and noticed this plastic piece that was wedged up on one side of my framing at the top, between glass and frame.  Then I saw where they used silicone to push one of the front glasses outward at the top of the framing, so it would line up with my shower door.  There was also a strip of hard clear plastic stuck up under the plastic piece where the door is attached at the bottom.  It created a popping noise everytime you would swing the door back and forth.  I tried calling the guy the same day, texting him, and emailing him regarding these things that he didn't point out to me at the completion of the job.  I tried to reach him several times, even left a voice message.  I have not had one response from him, so I'm real disappointed in him and the fact that I was kind enough to pay him, but also knew that he would stand by his work, as I was told from the beginning.  Yes, I found him right here on Angie's List, so I'm not so sure I could recommend this company to anyone.  If you can't return calls to good honest customers and want to make things right, then you don't need to be listed here on Angie's List.  No doubt, this guy knew he didn't tell me about these things so NO,  I do not like anything in my home being "rigged" up, as you could say.  It's just a tacky job.  So, here it is July 14th and I still have no response.  I am really disappointed with this company.

"I would recommend Churchill Painting and Renovations and would use them again for a project of this type. I had several estimates for a painting job on a home with substantial amounts of exterior detail. Initially, I was looking for someone to fix some bad trim and paint the trim only. Cary did an effective job showing me how the original paint job on my year 2001 home truly needed to be completely redone. His estimate was not the lowest estimate , and neither was it the highest. I felt that it was the best value among the estimates that I received, given the quality of paint that would be used, the level of service that was promised, and the extras that Cary promised.
We were substantially delayed in getting the project started due to the wet weather of this fall--you can't paint when it is raining or it's gonna rain, and there was a lot of it in September! In the days before we started, Cary sent one of his project managers to help us choose paint colors. He was thoughtful and patient with us as we made the choices--and helpful and responsive through the whole process. The job started as scheduled, and was done in a very reasonable amount of time. There was more trim repair that was necessary that we anticipated, and that led to a small increase in price, but no more than the materials and labor costs. After the main house was painted, the manager helped us to choose a deck stain color, which was done on the last day of the work. They did a great job with the carpentry, the colors, and the details. They were great guys and easy to work with.
After the main job was completed, there were of course some things that needed to be addressed--mainly some stuck windows and a few touch ups. This part of the process was a little harder, again partly due to weather, and partly because there was a transition in who was managing our project. Cary sent a 5-man crew to our house when they became unexpectedly available, which was both responsive, but unexpected. (This is my reason for giving a B for punctuality--they were never late! :)The downside of having little notice was that communication was hard, and I, the person who knew what needed to be done, could not be at the property. Instead, my wife had to inspect and sign-off on the repairs...while she was watching our 2 young children. So when not everything was finished, I had to follow up again. My reason for giving a B in responsiveness is because the communication around this follow up was more drawn out. When I was able to speak with Cary and work out the details, it was made clear that everything will be taken care of to my satisfaction. Part of what is not yet done is something that was an "extra," which was a reason for my choosing of this contractor, but this extra was not done as I requested. Cary has promised that this will be done correctly and promptly. I'll update this review when the last pieces are finished. The rainy weather has made it harder to know when that will happen, but the matters here are not urgent.
Overall, this was a good value, and an excellently done job. The house looks great and is far better protected from the elements. They even painted the mailbox and the attic vents! The crew was awesome--it's so cool to see a group of a dozen men descend on a home and transform it. Thank you Churchill Painting!
