"After purchasing the Big Deal, I was contacted within 1 day. The appointment for the inspection was scheduled within 2 business days, the installation was done, within the week.  Not only did these Professionals install the furnace, condenser and air conditioner. They completely redid the venting of the furnace and hot water heater, moved the electrical and water lines in a more efficient route, and built a pad for the air conditioner complete with pea gravel  and substantial pad.  In my 35 plus years of ownership I have never been so happy with a contractor. Very responsive to my questions about maintenance of the units.

"I'd not used Veteran Cleaning Services before and wanted to get some answers about the dryer vent cleaning they offered.  My dryer is on the third floor and the vent terminates on the 5th floor.  I wanted to know if they would service a dryer that was not on the ground floor.  I emailed them via the Angie's List website.  They did not respond.  I emailed again a few days later and still no response.  Then I tried calling their office and left a message.  No response.  I called the office again and also their mobile number.  A few days later, we were able to connect.
They answered my questions about cleaning the dryer vent in my townhouse so I purchased a Big Deal for $100.  We agreed to a date and time.  Some days later I had to reschedule.  I called and the service was changed to a new date and time.
The day of service, Veteran Cleaning Services were a no show.  I contacted them and was told they had forgotten to note the new service date on their schedule due to problems with their phone system.   We scheduled for another day and they came as promised.
Service was carried out promptly with no issues.  The service tech suggested changing the cap on the vent because lint was being trapped by the cap and then falling back down the vent pipe.  He suggested removing the cap and replacing it with an elbow so lint can fly out the vent.  Other companies had never suggested doing that and I was pleasantly surprised by the suggestion as he was correct that the cap on the vent was not appropriate.
I was promised a receipt via email, which I have not received.  After the tech left, I found the dryer and washer were dirty with lint particulates and the laundry room floor had pieces of lint.  There were also a few pieces of lint on the stairs between the third and fifth floors.  Some lint is bound to escape notice but more of it should have been cleaned up.
Overall I was pleased with their service and would use them again.  I suggest their company work on being more responsive when customers call or email, and also, they should try to clean up as much lint as possible before leaving a customer's home.

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"June of 2017, our 29 year old A/C unit quite working. It was known prior to contacting Tritan Services. A phone call was made to Tritan on a Monday morning at 6:30AM. Ted returned my call within 30 minutes and scheduled a visit to our home at 9:30AM that same day! Ted and Chad looked at the unit determined all refrigerant charge has been dissipated. It was a high humidity 90°F + day and this was the 1st truly hot week forecasted for the summer. Ted stated that the evaporator coil in our furnace required replacement as well as the condenser coil with a compressor. He quoted a very reasonable price and after installation, that is what is cost. Being an HVAC programmer in the industrial world, people like Ted and Chad unfortunately are a rare type. Knowing he gave a reasonable price and did not take advantage in any way shape or form, the job was purchased. Ted and Chad; removed the existing evaporator coil, condensing unit, picked up the new evaporator coil and condensing unit, installed it and were done by 2PM. There have been ZERO issues. After installation, the thermostat in the house had to be raised 2°F because the A/C worked better than ever and our electrical consumption dropped nearly 20%. Just fantastic service. The humidity in the house is finally being removed properly. This company is a model of stellar customer service, professional knowledge and technical expertise. It is a relief to have a company who can be trusted."
